Stay away. These people are lying scammers. They offered my partner and several 2 for 1 "deals" sponsored by "city hall" like a canopy tours', meals, island day trips, and resort day passes. We asked if there was any timeshare presentation required to receive the deal and two reps assured us several times there was no presentation. We paid them for the deal on a zipline experience. The day of the event, they took us instead to a resort for a mandatory timeshare presentation, which would have taken our entire morning and made us miss our zip line start time. After much loud protesting, they agreed to send us to our zip line park, but only if we paid for the other ticket, which is extortion. These people are shameless exploiters.
We paid the money and they put us in a taxi which would not take us all the way. The driver dumped us in a mountain town and told us to walk. Unbelievable. Gracias a dios, another taxi happened to come by and did us a favor and took us to our park.
Do not talk to these criminals. They will tell you there's no timeshare presentation involved, and then lo and behold, there will be.
If you don't know what the "time share presentation" is, it's a hard sell sales tactic where sales people will try to incentivize you to attend a presentation, usually over a long 2-3 hour breakfast with lots of alcoholic drinks involved so you are more open your wallet and shell out for a time share or other "exciting opportunity".
In other words, you'll waste hours the morning of your planned activity, oftentimes arriving late, screwing up your plans.
Sunset tours are worse than most because they will directly lie to you, rather than use half truths. Also, avoid the time share scam in the airport transportation lobby! read more
