I was able to pay ahead for an item and pick up in a few days which was really helpful since I am about 2 hours from them. Pricing was very reasonable especially when comparing to other store in the area and other surrounding areas. Parking can be tricky. It was off season, so I was able to park in the hotel lot that was right next door. But, I am sure when the summer season rolls around parking will be different. When I visited there were a few employees behind the counter. They greeted me when I walked in and were engaging with other customers on and off. So it was nice.

I see some very negative reviews, but we (Black and Asian with kids) had a wonderful experience at this store. No bad vibes whatsoever! We fell in love with an old artwork of Chincoteague displayed at a local restaurant, and we visited this store hoping to find a copy. Store owner went above and beyond to go through their collections to find exactly we were looking for. This made our day! During the checkout, we noticed a big bumble bee and Bernie Saunder's crochet displayed (not for sale) by the counter, and the store owners told us that the local lady made those crochets for them. We couldn't get over how cute and well-made they were, then the store owners even offered to contact her for us! This was our first time visiting this store, and we will be returning every time we travel to Chincoteague!
