My husband and I researched potentially every single wedding photographer based in New England and we kept coming back to Jaimee. From the moment we met, we knew we would vibe perfectly together. Not only is she extremely talented, she's also professional, kind, communicative, a calming presence, funny, and just the best human being. We felt so comfortable around her despite only having met her a couple times prior to our wedding. We knew that we wanted to work with a photographer whose work is timeless - where we could look at the photos decades from now and still be in love with them, and I know that we will. She captured everything so beautifully - things like a raindrop on a leaf, a tear falling from an eye, dancing with grandparents. So many moments were captured that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. In addition to being so incredibly impressed with our wedding photos, she also provided us with sneak peeks that same evening, and our full gallery within two weeks - delivered in the cutest "date night box." I can't explain how happy I am that we chose Jaimee for our wedding. Please work with her - you'll be so happy you did!

Choosing Jaimee Morse was the BEST decision my husband and I made from the moment we inquired about booking her for our wedding. On our very first conversation, we just felt so connected to her and her fine art photography style was exactly what we were looking for. She was beyond friendly and always professional and listened to what shots we wanted her to capture during our wedding day. We always had clear communication throughout the months leading up to our wedding and Jaimee delivered on everything she said she would. I am so happy and privileged that she was able to be apart of and capture the most important day of our lives. We just received our photos last week and wow, they are just absolutely breathtaking and exceeded all of our expectations. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed and we promise, if you have the opportunity to work with Jaimee, you will be too.

We knew that…read morethough many cherished memories would be made on our wedding day, photographs were what would capture those memories and moments and hold them for many years to come. It was with that in mind that we began our search. I stumbled across Bethany and Dan pretty early on. From the second I skimmed through their website I was wowed and felt I didn't need to search any further. I reached out to them and we promptly set up a teleconference. Their work had already sold me, but getting to chat with them and get a feel for their personalities sealed the deal. From the initial planning stages through our wedding day Bethany and Dan stayed in contact, whether through email or by mail. It's very apparent that they value their clients and that thought goes into every little thing that they do. They were always available to answer any questions we had or address any issue that came up. By the time our wedding day arrived we couldn't wait to meet them! Bethany and Dan arrived on sight on our wedding day, and my husband and I both felt like it was meeting an old friend. They were both warm and inviting and had the type of personality that put even the most nervous of people (both of us that day!) at ease. They were an absolute joy to work with. You can tell they adore their clients, their craft, and one another. We had so much fun with them! Not only did we enjoy their presence, but our families did as well. I could hardly wait for the photos to arrive and was that bride that checked her email daily even though I knew it would weeks before anything came through. When they did, I was floored. These photographs that captured on our wedding day were beyond anything I could have ever imagined or hoped for. I cried with joy as I relived those special moments, looking through he gallery. THEY. ARE. STUNNING. I cannot begin to guess how many times I've looked through them. With our gallery, were able to go through and select favorites, but I couldn't. Each and every photo is my favorite for one reason or another. Not only are we extremely happy with the photographs we received, we've also received countless compliments on our wedding photos from friends and family. I simply cannot say enough about these two. They're absolutely fantastic!

After meeting with them over the phone, we knew they were a good fit for us. Though they had to travel for our wedding, they were incredibly punctual (in fact, a bit early). They jumped right in once they arrived and made us feel comfortable while also ensuring that we were going to get pictures of our wedding day that captured everything we wanted. Bethany and Dan worked incredibly well together, with each throwing out different ideas, splitting us up for individual pictures, and both making sure our time was used efficiently. Dan made us feel extra special in finding and scouting out ahead of time a new place where we were able to take photos just outside of Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor. We were very happy with our "sneak peek" photos and are so excited to see the rest of them!

The stepping stones, water features, and flowers provided a captivating backdrop. The photographer developed a friendly rapport with our son immediately, which worked wonders. We were allowed to change clothes during the shoot and had a wonderful relaxed day at the ocean capturing memories. Before I booked I asked if we would be provided a password-protected online web gallery with our proofs. I was told yes. That was a lie. About a month after the photo shoot we logged in to a screen-sharing program from Maine to Washington. We spoke on the phone with Lucia as she slowly showed us images to choose from. This was not a password-protected web page, this was a live duplicate of her computer's screen. From her desktop she controlled display of the images. She could click through on a thumbnail to enlarge a photo, and she could crop images if she so choose. She was driving. This was absolutely not a web page we could peruse at our leisure. The process of figuring out how much the package would cost was simply excruciating. To establish a price point we were told several times during the phone conversation, "The price depends on how many prints you get. I don't know how many you can't live without, so I can't answer your question now . . ." Seriously, that is a quote that I remember many months later. "I need to show you all of the photos before we can discuss price." Seriously. We asked four times and four times were told we could not discuss price. Then the sale needed be closed. Near the end of the call she proceeded to rattle off three or four packages which involved mental arithmetic so fast she lost my Microsoft software developer husband. We had to write down the prices. We had to ask her to and click on images, over, and over, and over. We couldn't see the images side by side. This may be shrewd business practice, but it is not the optimal customer service experience. The process bothered me a lot. The reason I felt so manipulated was because I was lied to about our being able to see the prints on a password-protected web page. That was false advertising. If you are reading my Yelp review and planning a photo shoot, please beware. If you do a wedding or other once-in-a-lifetime experience, I hope you can sign a contract in advance with the prices - not just of the shoot, but of the full package options. I did not ask for that in advance and I wish I had. Two more things I want potential customers to know: Number one, I had no itemized invoice. Yeah, that's kind of important, now that I think about it. I had no proof that I paid for a print to be shipped to my mother. When I called about a month after my mother's birthday I asked my mom about the print I had ordered for her. (Mom said she hadn't received anything.) I called Lucia immediately. Lucia checked my customer record, and said she could not immediately find an order for my mother. I persisted and asked her to look at my invoice. After several minutes she clicked a few buttons on her machine and said (with honest surprise in her voice), "Oh you DID order another print, but it was going to ship to another address." She apologized profusely. The 10"×10" print was sent to my mother; my mother was incredibly angry when I told her what happened. She said, "You should call the Better Business Bureau on them!" Number two, the company misrepresents the privacy practices they say there are providing to customers. Here is a quote from the e-mail that explained how I could get my digital download: "If you have any questions or problems downloading the filed [sic] please let us know, we will be happy to help! Once you have completed the download, please save it to your computer because the link on our site will only be available for download for [in red] 10 days." The digital downloads are still there today. The digital downloads of about a dozen other people are also there, with no password protection. The photography and resulting prints are five star work. Two stars means "meh, I've experienced better." I've worked with three other professional photography studios and never encountered this kind of foolishness.
