We had a bit of bad luck pulling a camper and would up in the area after a blow out which ripped…read moreout our electrical, plumbing, and tore up a good part of the camper that sat above the tire. The mobile repair guy we found suggested we park here until he could get to us the next day. Everyone we encountered here was so nice and helpful! Dana in he office got us into a spot understanding that our intent was to get repaired and leave the next day but she chose one that was unrented for the next five days just in case the repair turned out not to be a quick one. Pat, an older gentleman in the park actually went around and rebounded up fans and extension cords for us since we had no AC. Jim also offered help and even gave us his lot number in case we needed anything else. Others around the area heard about our predicament and offered us water and advice on things to do and places to stay in the area if we couldn't tough it out in the camper. It was so beautiful and everyone was so nice and helpful, we had decided to stay the remainder of our vacation rather than continuing onto our original destination. When the repairman found more extensive damage than we expected and it became apparent we couldn't use it, three people in the office (one was Dana) gave us advice on where we could find lodging. This place is awesome...beautiful setting filled with great people. We will make this our future destination!

There are potholes that fill up with water that should be fixed immediately. The first speed bump if you go over slightly more than 5 mph. Your car will bottom out. They do have new ownership, so perhaps given time they will fix that situation. You will notice immediately how small the spaces are and how close together they are. I could constantly hear my neighbors particularly when they were drinking. The dog park needs to be sodded. They do have a lot to do. They have a nice pool overlooking the bay. The location is incredible as are the sunsets. Apparently, a lot of of people like this RV park so I am quite confident that I am in the minority. I do like the manager and she will do the best that she can for you and will give you 100%

The pool, hot tub, sauna, work out room and restrooms were all super clean. They also have 2 big places for rallies or get-togethers. One has pool tables and showers. The other has a big screen TV and a kitchen. We were there in October so the weather was beautiful. They also decorated the place for Halloween. Each day was a different skeleton scene. They had skeleton pumpkin carving, skeleton tug of war, skeleton wound center, skeleton BBQ and skeleton golf cart wash. Lots of work but enjoyed seeing a different scene everyday. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

The sites are spacious with many backing unto water. The staff are friendly and helpful, rates are reasonable and the people are super nice. It is close to the gulf and lots of good restaurants close by. Plenty of activities happening at Community centre and Pool hall. A great place either short or long term.
