There's ample parking, but the first small parking lot you see next to the pickle ball/tennis courts deceive you in thinking it's the main parking for the playground. Just drive a little further past the park and there's a huge amount. The layout is very familiar if you've been to any other magical bridge playground location, and all the facilities and activities are well kept. We will drop by again whenever we're in Morgan Hill.

However, the lack of public restrooms can be a drawback for some visits, especially for families with young children. Being right across the street from a school, you'd think it would be nice to have a restroom available for anyone who might be at the park after school, when the school buildings are closed. The play areas could also benefit from their own shade structures, but currently have none. Despite this inconvenience, the park remains a lively and welcoming space that encourages outdoor play and community connection.

Three different bathroom locations all over park as will as well kept toiletries. My personal favorite area is the playground. Lots of benches and comfortable sitting areas next to the tanbark playset. Lots of room for younger or older kids. The benches also have their own barbeque pits. As well as a huge party hosting area with larger barbeques which includes two sinks and two long tables. Conveniently next to the bathrooms to but not to close lol. Did i mention there is a giant outside theater!! Yes for everyone. Very cool with seats to fit hundreds of people and extra seating for vip too. This place is called the amphitheater. You can find a fun walking trail behind this too so be sure to visit. If you're new to gilroy i recommend coming here for 4th of July to see the fireworks. Lots of parking and guess what, there is even another huge park and trail across the street. Cant get any better than that. I notice lots of soccer teams use that extra field for so. Lots of space. The trail has minimal shade so make sure to wear a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. There are portable toilets. If you are a hiker, there are different trails to choose from. The popular one is the steep one that leads you to the top and has a beautiful view. The hike has no shade so definitely wear sunscreen and a hat. Dogs, horses, carriers, strollers, wheelchairs, bikes are all welcome. There's a sign at the entrance that lets you know what time they are closing.

We've been here several times and I truly want to love this park. It's on a beautiful quiet side…read morestreet next to a school. It has a giant green lawn and a fenced playground. It even has a public bathroom which sets it apart from a lot of other public parks. But on two separate occasions we've noticed less than desirable goings-on inside of said bathroom on the weekends. I have no idea what it might be, but I can tell you I don't want to become privy to it, nor my children.

We came here for a kid's birthday party, and this park is so nice!…read more It's very spacious, lots of free parking, and lots of features. There is an extensive playground with different types of swings, merry-go-round things, a large playhouse thing, and several slides on a little hill on the playground. In the area with the slides they have turf material and there is a recycling box with cardboard so that kids can use it and also sled down the hill. They have different types of courts like for basketball, pickleball, tennis, baseball. There is lots of space to walk on the gravel path, and there is sort of a pond area (which appears to be less maintained). There are many picnic areas that are shaded too. I really liked that the area the birthday party was located had a gate so that kids wouldn't run out and away. The playground also had a gate on it too, which is great for childrens' safety and parents' ease of minds! We noticed the bathrooms are somewhat high tech with lights to activate the automatic doors and lights to indicate that the bathroom is occupied. I didn't go in, so I can't comment on cleanliness/upkeep. Wish this kind of park was more common. I would highly recommend this park!

The fact alone that this park has bathrooms makes it awesome…read more I have been coming to this park my entire life. It has definitely gotten some upgrades. New magical bridge playground opens this weekend. It's not even open yet and it looks beautiful so far :) It has a dog park, a trail, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a baseball field. I almost forgot, the ducks! It has a lake with ducks! I like walking the trail because there are plenty of trees which creates shade, so it's not just sunny. The bathrooms are located in between the tennis courts and the baseball field. Also, parking is free! Anyone can come with children, strollers, solo individuals, people with dogs, anyone. Everyone is in their own world, living their life with nature.
