It was late morning/early afternoon and I was torn between breakfast and lunch so I went with something that would satisfy both. The bacon and egg taco. lol A cute, newly opened breakfast lunch spot right on Main Street. A nice home town vibe with a little bit of a diner flair. I liked the bacon and scrambled egg taco. It came with avocado and cheese with a side of potato's. For not being too busy it seemed to take a little longer than normal to come out and then it was luke warm at best. While waiting they seemed to struggle to keep the coffee cup filled and they used one of those coffee crafts which again was just warm. I will say I like the menu and will give the lunch items a try next time I'm in the area. In the mean time hopefully the service will improve some. read more

If I could give you more than five stars I would. First off your location on Main Street in downtown Ball Ground is perfect. Right across the street from Ball Ground Hounds. When you walk in it's sunny, bright, and happy. I love the flowers vining down the light fixtures, perfect touch. The food is exceptional, better than its description on the menu. This was the first restaurant ever that has served a "perfect" poached egg in hollandaise sauce over a soft buttery English muffin. With Canadian bacon. Bravo to the chef I loved my meal. I used NO salt or pepper the food did not require it. When I cut into my egg it held its form until I sliced the yoke. The taste was pure perfection. Yum. This bright sunny business is the joy to my start of the day and worth a visit. read more

This new breakfast spot is a welcome addition to the downtown of Ball Ground. It is in the old Cajun restaurant location. We were there right when they opened and got seated immediately. We were offered drinks. The coffee was hot and kept full. Half and half is on the table in the little containers. My avocado toast with scrambled eggs on top was pretty good. A suggestion would be to find a unique seasoning for the avocado. I would order it again though. The potatoes were ok. I ordered them extra crispy and they were not. I'm hopeful for this place. We need a local non-chain breakfast spot and this place seems to fit right in. Go check it out. read more

We were so happy to learn a breakfast spot had opened in Downtown Ball Ground and had to come and try it. It replaced Les Bon Temp Cajun Restaurant (thank goodness, that place was terrible) and is open early. The staff was friendly and attentive. We were quickly sat and waited on. I ordered the Meat Lovers skillet with over-easy eggs and a side of cheese grits. The Meat Lovers skillet was delicious, with a mix of sausage, bacon, and ham over potatoes with the over-easy eggs on top. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the runny yolk coated the potatoes and meat wonderfully. I did order my potatoes extra crispy, however, they were not cooked that way. They were fresh and hot though. The cheese grits were fantastic! So buttery with the right amount of cheese mixed in. I loved them. The only down side...the biscuit. It was...interesting. It was flat and dense. Maybe the dough was overworked, maybe something as missing...but it was flat and not as flaky as it should have been and kind of chewy. Also, their hot sauce selection needs one more option...a Louisiana style hot sauce like Louisiana Hot Sauce or Crystal. I like my grits with hot sauce and their selection of Tabasco, Valentino, or Chalupa just don't provide that flavor that goes so well with grits. But all in all, this is a solid breakfast option in Ball Ground. I'm sure as time goes by, they'll get even better. read more

First, I was so excited to see a new breakfast place opening up in downtown Ballground. The only other place open that early is the coffee shop which is great but doesn't have a huge food selection. The interior is cute and bright as the name would suggest. The service was OK. She was attentive at first but once we got our food, a trail off from there. The eggs Benedict was overpriced for what I got. The Canadian bacon slices were very small and the sauce was really runny, as in watery. The grits were like a rock. My husband and friend liked their sandwiches. On a positive note, I saw breakfast tacos on the menu and I was very excited about that because that was a staple when I lived in Texas. read more

First of all it took an hour to get our food. When we finally got the food - grits were cold, potatoes were cold, avocado was all brown, the hollandaise sauce was disgusting, the English muffin was extremely dense and gross, there wasn't much that really tasted good. Actually some people in our party left because it was taking so long, even to get a drink!!! Don't waste your time!!! First visit today and my wife and I shared the Eggs Benedict with cheese grits. By far the best I've ever had The only place equal is Huey's on River Street Savannah just because you're on the river. The muffin was fork tender, poached PERFECT, great hollandaise, cheese grits the best I've had Met Marco the 20 year old owner. I'm amazed a 20 year old could open such an outstanding restaurant. Our waitress was Madison, very attentive. We had the biscuit & gravy w/cheesy eggs &grits & the Sausage & Egg plate (substituted ham for the sausage-should've stayed with sausage). Cheesy eggs&grits were awesome, gravy/biscuit was ok. Fried eggs&grits were great but the ham was deli sandwich ham, very thin fried, ok but not what was expected for breakfast. read more

Drove 40 mins to this place because there weren't any breakfast places near our cabin. Theres a total of maybe 10 or less people in the whole place and were asked to sit at the bar...red flag. We ordered basic food and waited about 40 mins for eggs to come out. All while hearing other people complaining about how their food came out wrong, cold, or not even the right plate of food. The cooks don't wear any gloves or hair wraps. The service is absolutely terrible. The looks like owner or manager tried our coffee on the palm of her hand...instead of straw tasting like bartenders do. That was super weird. We'll never be back and I highly suggest you go somewhere else. read more

Was excited to try this new spot and ended up being so disappointed. My husband got the biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and a side of bacon. The bottom of the biscuit was so burned he couldn't cut through it. One piece of bacon was half burned and half barely cooked. I got the southwest skillet and it was so soggy I didn't eat it. $38 is a lot for an inedible meal. Such a bummer! read more

Driving home from Amicalola Falls, we found the most perfect breakfast spot to end our anniversary weekend. Sunrise on Main is so charming, the service was top notch, and the food was delicious. Hands down the best biscuits I have had in my life. And to top it off, the coffee was hot and strong, just the way it should be. We did not partake, but they also offered a mimosa flight and other interesting breakfast cocktails. My husband and I both had the farmhouse skillet. Expertly crafted and enough food to satisfy the breakfast hunger. We will definitely drive a little further on our weekends to dine! read more
