My youngest son still goes here and absolutely loves it. He can't wait to get there each day. If we arrive early enough he gets given breakfast. At the rear of the building there is a yard were all the children play. The children are always well supervised. As the children get older they move into 'big group' and they start learning the basics, to get them ready for life at School. I'm glad my children have been here. It gives them such a good start to life.

The staff make time at the end of each day to talk to myself regarding my children, and they are very friendly and well mannered, I would ( and have) reccomend this nursery to my friends .

Cherry Hill did not have the atmosphere of a pre - pre school like one nursery we visited, but neither did it have a TV afternoon or a 'sausages for different ages' policy. Our little girl has a milk allergy which has done much to test the staff but they have yet to be defeated. All the staff I have met at Cherry Hill interact wonderfully with our daughter and I am content that we made the best choice in sending her there.

Its full of hands on activities, drawing, painting, model making, stories, songs and dress up. Best of all its completely free. My children (aged 4 and 8) regularly choose Big Art as a choice of a day out during half terms and weekends and as a parent it is just lovely to be able to spend a couple of quiet hours simple playing with the kids away from the normal domestic distractions. They also provide a number of fun worksheets designed for the kids for use in the main gallery too.

Theres a chidrens play area complete with zip slide for the bigger kids. The cafe has plenty of seating, a few sofas, a selection of newspapers to peruse and lovely hot chocolate although it is a bit pricey, especially the cakes which veer towards £2 a slice. The monthly farmers market which attracts a wide variety of local farmers is well worth visiting, once you've tried Buffallo sausages you'll be hooked for life. The regular farm shop stocks the usual overpriced preserves, biscuits and extortionate sweets. The newly expanded discount book section is well worth a browse and they have a new line in stationary made from recycled sheep poo.

Just outside the cafe there is a rather nice kids play area. We often go there as a family and everybody gets something out of it.
