During our consultation, the sales rep sold us on the Hunter Douglas "Light Lock" blackout blinds for our two kids' bedrooms. She managed expectations well, noting they wouldn't be 100% pitch black but would be a massive upgrade from our basic $200 Home Depot blinds we installed ourselves. Based on that promise, we invested over $2,000. The installation process was a total disaster. It took three separate appointments just to get them up. The first two times they arrived with zero knowledge of how to install the product. The third time he arrived, he admitted he had never put these exact blinds in before and actually suggested using double-sided tape at one point. Now that they are finally up, the performance is terrible--they let in a ton of light and aren't at all we had hoped for. When we reached out with photos/videos to check if they were even installed correctly, it took days to get a generic response telling us everything looks okay. I requested a call from a manager days ago and have been completely ignored. For a premium $2k+ price tag for 4 windows, the product, installation quality, and customer service have been completely unacceptable. Save your money and look elsewhere.

We were very pleased with our experience with Aero Drapery & Blind. I originally called them to get…read morea quote simply to compare with the quote we got from Costco. I honestly viewed it as due diligence more than anything. But Sally really impressed us. She made good suggestions, listened to our desires and was quick to help us zero in on the types of things we were looking for (and not waste time looking at things we didn't want). It was clear to me she had many years of experience working in this field. In the end, her bid for our job came in just sightly higher than the quote we got from Costco, and the difference was so negligible that it was a wash for me. We liked the options Sally had slightly better, and we honestly just liked Sally a lot more than the sales guy from the Costco vendor. We also were super impressed with the gentleman who came to install the blinds. Tony, I think. I laughed in disbelieve when he told me it would take an hour but it was pretty close. He was a total pro, and he knew exactly what he was doing. I appreciated that he noticed that the valence wasn't 100% perfect and so he had them order a replacement that was 100% perfect. The attention to detail was great, and we were very pleased with that. In addition, the blinds look GREAT. They look like they were custom-stained to match our room and they were cut perfectly for the space. We could not ask for better and it's improved our room tremendously. For the first few days I didn't even want to leave the livingroom. I just wanted to sit there and stare at my pretty window. Thanks, Sally!

At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. Thanks suncontrol first and last time going there.
