The first time around the owners said that they couldn't inspect his car because the front side windows were tinted and that he would have to have the tint removed. The gentleman did just that. I thought the windows must have had a REALLY dark tint. Much to my surprise, the owner told me the same story--that I would have to have the tint removed from my car before they could inspect it. He claimed that the law was enacted several years ago and that the state was recently getting very strict about enforcing it. I didn't believe that for a second and went home to some research. Tinted windows ARE ALLOWED as long as 70% of light can pass through them. There is a hand-held gadget that checks this. These people are sick and absolutely despicable.
