I went to the bathroom right when I entered the store, and after approx 3-5 mins, the older woman comes into the bathroom and tells me to get out, that I'd been in there long enough. Meanwhile I had gotten my period, had to put a tampon in, use baby wipes, and had to sanitize my hands. I had to rummage through my bag for all these items so it took some time, but not nearly enough time for her to come in and start harassing me. I apologized from inside the stall and told her I got my period and was only there for 5 mins. She goes "that's a lie" and I said no, I just walked in here 5 mins ago. When I walked out she was still standing there with the door open and I asked her if she was an employee and she said yes. I apologized again but told her I got my period and had to clean up before leaving. I barely had time to wash my hands or even look in the mirror either. My boyfriend made us coffees and put them on the counter to check out, but I was in the bathroom with our card so he said he had to go to the bathroom and went into the men's bathroom which was right next to mine. He was in there for literally 30 seconds when the same woman came in and said she wanted to check to see what he was doing. She left, and about 7 mins later, sent the shift leader (a male) into the bathroom this time. BIG MISTAKE. The employee asked him what he was doing in there and told him to hurry up. My boyfriend exited the bathroom a few minutes later and exploded on the employees saying he was taking a s*** and didn't need to be questioned or forced out of the bathroom. We were both paying customers, and they had no right to barge into the bathrooms so soon after we entered them. I have never used the bathroom there once, and was shocked by the entire thing. I am always fast in the bathroom, and never had anyone rush me out like that. Not to mention, there are two stalls in the women's bathroom, so there was no need to rush me. We both felt extremely disrespected and angry because we hadn't done anything wrong. The guy told my boyfriend to hurry up because others' needed to use the bathroom when we were the ONLY ONES IN THE STORE. They told me that they had to have a time limit on the bathrooms for all customers and I told them their time limit was way too short and unfair, that I got my period and had to clean myself in order to deal with the situation.
