I went int to look for a restroom in this here barn like structure and as I did a worker came out on her break, recognized I was not a local and said hi, "and if you are hungry, we have lots of things to get. She was leaving from the kitchen apparently as she was pleased with the cool weather. She was very sweet and friendly and so I did look around. As I entered it smell like fresh warm food, better than more fast food highway chains, It was set up with on area typical aisles of a convenience store, to the other side was hot shelves as in a grocery deli with sandwiches, pizza slices and myriad of other wrapped and choice of warm or cold options. There was a historical display of photos on the wall of the Millers Falls area. There was a "toy and stuffed animal " display for those traveling with children, there was a wall of counter space with seating if you wanted to eat in rather than your car. The place was immaculate, a gentleman constantly keeping the floor and counters clean for the next customer. The checkers were quick and friendly. They were located near the kitchen and it did smell delicious. Our bacon, egg, cheese on a biscuit, as nice and fresh as homemade and no wait, just self serve off the hot bar. My husband bought some items from the convenience area and we read through the history posters and headed out, car full of gas and us with a warm sandwich to recharges. And absolutely the nicest people you would ever want to meet on a trip with such a stop.

The old gas station had a ton of items, but now the new convenience store is huge and packed with even more items. The new pumps are fast, easily accessible and the gas prices are reasonable for this side of town. Overall, this is a great update to Federal Street and I am excited that this Cumberland Farms is 24/7.

I was surprised to have a lady come out to the car and refuel the car for me! I've not seen a full service gas station in recent memory - except in New Jersey! This station offers Mobil brand fuels. I drive a Mercedes and anyone who drives a high-performance German vechicle knows that they should ALWAYS have a minimum octane of 91! This requirement is so important for the engine that there is always a label by the gas cap! The woman was quite busy filling multiple vehicles -- she started mine and went to help someone else. After a few minutes I glanced over and saw that she was putting regular gas in my vechicle!! I jumped out and stopped the pump! When she came over to ask me what I was doing , at told her that people are never supposed to put regular gas in a vehicle like this. She defensively said, "I know that applies to all BMWs,Mercedes, & Audi's" So, I asked her why the hell did she put regular in then?. She replied that when I arrived she said"fill it up with regular?" As I am sure she does to all customers. THAT IS NEGLIGENCE!! If she knows that a vehicles REQUIRES a higher octane she should ask by default fill it up with 91 or 93 octane? She offensively told me a lot of customers put regular in. If that is the case then they should be the ones to request it! Regular gas should not be the default when a vehicle can be damaged by using it! This is the first full-service vehicle I have been to in many years... now I will be aware... but I still think this was negligence on her part!

It is clean and attractive and they even have disposable gloves by the pumps for you to use. The gas is expensive due to the lack of competition in the area. Every few seconds the pump would shut off which was very annoying. The store might be better. I get the impression the food is made fresh because I have heard them advertising on the radio for a deli manager. So I would return for the food but not for the gas.

The restrooms are nice enough - and there are a couple drink and snack machines just inside that little room. - Across the street is this travelling Polish sausage place - which sounds like the beginning of a joke, but trust me - they rock! Just down the street down Avenue A is Turners Falls - where you can also find a few decent places to eat. - Just back east a little ways on Rt 2 is the French King Bridge, which is worth a stop to look around - real pretty country out here.

The two men who run and manage this Mobil are the kindest gentlemen, ever. Not to mention that this…read moreis the cleanest gas station I've ever been to!!!! The bathroom has art and a hanging flower pot... I mentioned how clean it was and lovely as I was walking out and the two men were so proud and appreciative I recognized it. People, or some at least, tend to use Yelp to leave mean remarks and I wanted to highlight just how great of a job these men are doing.
