Several years ago expressed my dissatisfaction with this company and posted my feedback with photos of a messy backyard they have left behind. Then the owner paid me a surprise personal visit asking to remove my comments from the site and being neither apologetic nor ready to offer a discount or incentive. I am now posting the photos of a mess left behind again yesterday and bidding this company my farewell... I am attaching some photos, an invoice and a proof of payment fyi. read more

Their snow cleaning service is unreliable. I sit here in central Toronto, not far from their office, 18 hours after the big Toronto snow fall and they have yet to show up. Customer service is so bad that their phone receptionist won't even give me an ETA. After a couple of tries I left a call back number and no one calls back. Everyone else's driveway on my street has been plowed. This is not the first time. I had these issues last year as I seemed to be near the end of their list, and they promised to improve. No such luck. Despite contractually promising to get here within 8 hours after a drop of more than 2 cm of snow they seldom meet the test after a significant snow fall.. No explanations given besides they are "doing their best". They seem to charge a premium fee for sub standard service.. read more

DO NO EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY TO DO SNOW REMOVAL!!!! They have failed to plow our parking area for days after this year's snow falls. As I write, it is Monday. The snow stopped falling sometime on Friday. They still have not come to plow. We have phoned multiple times. The manager even refuses to talk to us. This is an irresponsible company. read more

If you want your neighbours really mad at you-Sunnyside is good at that. Plowing the driveway across the street, they piled a 3ft tall pile of hard dirty snow into the full opening of our driveway. Completely across the opposite side of the street. I had to come outside and tell them that this is a driveway. They replied "We're not finished" a little too quickly. Minutes later I notice them driving away before I could see they only removed the pile by spreading it over our lawn and on top of the pure white snow we had on our driveway. How careless can they be? Move the customers snow onto every inch of the neighbours property. Even the public side walk on our side of the street was left with 4 to 8 inch piles of snow cutting off the clear path that was there for pedestrians. I called asking them to correct the mess and was told they'd "Get back to me" over 36 hours ago. Do you think they'll correct the mess they made? You can see in the picture that half of our entrance has been packed by their plow and it's the half directly in the path of our exit. read more

Just had our windows cleaned and very impressed with the service. Prompt, polite and exceptional follow up.

Sadly, we had a very poor experience with Sunnyside Window and Eaves Cleaning. After making several calls to different companies to compare services, I called Sunnyside to book a date/time for cleaning our eavestrough. The eavestrough were not cleaned well. It was clear to me on the day of the cleaning and I did provide the company with feedback and photos which showed thick shingle debris and nails. Despite the photo evidence, David, the owner engaged in a very upsetting conversation with me about whether or not snaking or hosing had been promised. He refused to accept the bottom line: the photos taken shortly after the supposed cleaning indicated that not all sections of the eavestrough had been cleaned. Rather than offer to return free of charge, I was told that the thick debris was simple shingle dust and that they would return to flush it out at an additional charge. The fact that his workers did not use a ladder to thoroughly clean all sides of the house was not addressed. His focus seemed to be snaking and hosing rather than the fact that the eavestrough was dirty. He went so far as to tell me that snaking and hosing are no longer used, yet snaking is clearly mentioned on his website. I was called a scammer and irrational as I stood my ground. I am so disappointed that David, the owner of Sunnyside Windows and Eaves would treat a customer as he did. There was no real respect or dignity rather laughing in the background as I was being mocked. Do NOT use this company. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I am so very disappointed not only in a job poorly done but most importantly in the unkind treatment of a customer who did her due diligence and was dismissed and called names. read more

Did a terrible job. We called them because we had a little bit of water build up in our driveway. They replaced the downspouts - very unprofessional different colors, shoddy work and unpleasant to the eye. Since the "fix" we have a significant amount of water build up. We called another company to fix their work. Spent way too much time with customer service and nothing got done. Stay away. read more

I used this company for eavestrough cleaning several times without a problem, they showed up on time and the work was decent. However, the last time I booked an appointment with them for a fall cleaning, they failed to show up and so we had another company do it. Then, 5 (yes, FIVE) months later they showed up at the door and my partner asked what they were there for. He sent them away, knowing the work had already been done. It wouldn't have been a big deal, and I would have hired them again, but then they sent me a bill for 'cleaning my eaves' when they hadn't done anything at all! When I said I refuse to pay for work not done, they turned me over to a collection agency. What terrible customer service! Avoid this company at all costs! read more

They do a fabulous job of cleaning the windows. They were late for the appointment; that's why one missing star. We live in a 3 story townhouse with no access for a 32' ladder from the back of the house. The third floor windows were removed partially from the inside. A 24' ladder was lowered down from a 2nd floor sliding glass door giving access to the 2nd floor rear windows. With all the access challenges, the job was done thoroughly, quickly and all my windows Sparkle! I would definitely recommend this company. read more

Great service. Hired them in the fall for windows and eaves for first time. Took them on for a snow clearing contract this winter. I'm super impressed by this well organized company. Highly recommended. read more

We have been using Sunnyside Windows for over three years now, both for our residence and for a couple of apartments. They are reasonably priced, and experienced and efficient. Each time they send a team that really knows what they are doing, bring their own ladder and leave our windows sparkling and also clean out the eaves. read more

I called and made an appointment with the company a week ago and nobody showed up to the schedule time, when i called to see what happened they said they didn't have any of my information but remembered speaking to me. read more

Arranged twice for them to come by and give a quote, both times they failed to show up. Wasted enough time, moving on to another company.
