The lady running the store had the air of being the owner, but I'm not sure. She was on the phone the whole time, speaking what turned out to be German. She did pause long enough to talk to me when I was ready to check out, but she didn't acknowledge me otherwise the entire time I was there. And I was there longer than planned since Yelp was in serious need of some pics of this place... So minus one star for lack of customer service. When you pay a notable premium for a locally owned, high-end food mart like this, it'd be nice to be acknowledged. $5 for the Triscuits and cheese sticks were $1 each. $7 for a very quick, healthy meal with delicious Triscuits left over. This location is usually a good one, right off of the highway it has fairly easy access. It's not the cleanest, there are a lot of truckers that use the truck section, so there is a large amount of traffic between normal clientele, the large truckers, highway traffic, and the landscapers, it stays busy and takes more effort to keep clean, the constant traffic shows it's wear. If you stop to use the bathroom, I can't recall a time when it's actually been clean. The mens bathroom is always dirty with many puddles around the stalls. The food is usually decent tho, I really like the pizzas. The soda fountains are hit and miss, sometimes it tastes great, other times it's too syrupy. One thing that is good is the lines at the check out counter are always moving, the staff keeps folks moving without too much wait.

This particular location is on the smaller side, so I can't even imagine how huge the larger locations are. There's a wide variety of souvenirs from apparel and home goods to even pet items. Towards the back, you'll find a deli, a wall of specialty beef jerky, tons of snacks, plus brisket sandwiches and desserts, including fudge. We ended up spending a good amount of time here before getting back on the road. You can sample the jerky. I really liked the Honey Jalapeño and Maple Cherry (on the sweeter side). And don't leave without grabbing the beaver nuggets!
