She really had a vision for my hair (I have a short, almost 2…read moreinches from my shoulder cut that needed an update; my last stylist was great with color, but he kinda gave me a wullet = female mullet) and I'm a chicken. I'm completely gutless when it comes to my hair; I'm usually irrationally suicidal about 1-2 days after I get my hair styled. She went for more blonde, which looked really good with my skin tone because I'm kinda pale and she cut some adorable side bangs, which I had always secretly coveted but worried I would look awful in. I also got a wedge; shorter in the back, longer in the front. The whole look is very bold, but not too showy and can either be very chic or very cute depending on how I style it. The down side is my start to finish was about 3 hours, so you must have patience if you want the magic. I was fine with it, just warning you to make sure you have an open amount of time. Jackie is so nice and very cool and confident in a take-charge and this-lady-knows-her-shit kind of way. She was recommended to me by a friend whose hair always looks great and I wasn't disappointed either. Price was only $20 more than what I used to pay for my guy when I lived in DC and she didn't give me a wullet. Instead of being suicidal, I was only mildly distressed for about an hour after the huge change and that's huge for me ;) But now I LOVE IT and I don't want to go to anyone else.
