I highly recommend this salon. Not only do they carry and use Aveda products; they offer a range of services for women, men and children. I have been going to this salon since 2008. I currently use Rebecca as my stylist and have been seeing her for many years. She's great and very patient with me and my annoying cowlick that effects my bangs. This is a very comforting and soothing establishment. I love the atmosphere and the love, care and kindness I feel at each visit. Sometimes I stop in to just say Hi. Kim offers it all. read more

Katie is fabulous. There is no one else that I trust with my curls. She studies the curl pattern and dry cuts the hair before washing and continuing the cut. read more

I get my hair cut here and have for a few years now. It's a very well kept shop, and the ladies are very nice. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone in the Storm Lake area. Ask for Katie. read more

History

Established in 2008.

Owner Kim Sievers purchased half of Serenity Salon & Spa in 2008. Her desire to make people feel beautiful was the driving force to attend Cosmetology School at the age of 45. In 2015, Embracing the Aveda Mission and growing her salon, Kim became sole owner and re-branded her to Sundara Salon + Spa. Sundara means "beautiful" in San Scrit, the ancient language of Ayurveda.

I requested a partial refund of $85 out of $129 and received no response. The service from this particular stylist was also extremely unprofessional.
