Doc saved my life! There aren't enough words for me to describe how unbelievably amazing my journey…read morewith Organic Oncology has been. From my first call with Doc, I felt a level of kindness and respect I did not experience with my previous providers. Doc has gone above and beyond to support my breast cancer journey. He's providing me with education and a treatment plan and protocol that not only saved my life from chemotherapy, but has now, within the same year as my diagnosis, freed me from cancer completely! Doc and Melanie have supported me in the most personal and impactful ways. Doc's level of care and protocol has not only gotten rid of the cancer at the stem cell level and restored my immune system from near death; but has also led me on a personal transformation. I truly can't say enough about Organic Oncology. The entire journey has been pure joy! I'm grateful, blessed, and so thankful to have found Organic Oncology. I highly recommend reaching out to Doc. The best decision I've made during my breast cancer journey has been to trust Doc and follow his guidance and protocol. Fighting cancer is a difficult journey and the support for the whole person is hard to find. Doc has treated me like family and continues to guide me on a path of healing. I'm living proof that the results will save, restore, and change your life in the most beautiful way!

I was in the Baptist regional for five days last month and everybody was so nice, let me tell you…read moreabout the food that they have at that hospital. It's like a five star restaurant you can order almost anything you want for breakfast lunch or dinner and the food is absolutely delicious. I finished everything I mean everything I didn't leave anything., I wanted to go back there for Thanksgiving dinner, but I didn't think it would be a good idea, but it was the best

If I could give this zero stars, I would . I took my three-month-old baby to Baptist Health,…read moreformerly Boca Regional Hospital, because she had a high fever, swollen eyes, and hadn't eaten in over 10 hours. As a terrified parent, I expected proper care and honesty. Instead, I got misinformation, misdiagnosis, and an avoidable financial burden. At no point during check-in or triage did anyone mention that this hospital does not treat pediatric patients. That critical fact was only brought up after we had already been taken to the back and tests were started. They performed a nasal swab and collected barely a drop of urine, then told me my baby had a urinary tract infection. They discharged us with medication and assured me she was fine. Within less than 24 hours, my baby's condition got much worse. I had to rush her to another hospital, where she was immediately admitted for severe dehydration, a GI virus, and rhinovirus. The doctors there confirmed that Baptist Health completely misdiagnosed my baby. A UTI cannot be confirmed on-site -- urine must be sent to a lab, which takes at least 24 hours. To make matters worse, Baptist Health didn't even have the capability to give a baby IV fluids or perform basic bloodwork -- things that any hospital should be able to do for an infant in distress. I've never heard of a hospital that can't even provide IVs or bloodwork for a sick baby. Because of their negligence and failure to communicate, I am now stuck paying two $250 co-pays -- one for Baptist Health (Boca Regional) and another for the hospital that actually treated my baby properly. Had they simply told me up front that they don't treat pediatric patients, I would have taken my baby elsewhere and avoided both the misdiagnosis and the added expense. This experience was heartbreaking, infuriating, and completely unacceptable. No parent should have to go through this -- scared, misled, and paying for inadequate care. If you have a child, do not take them to Baptist Health (formerly Boca Regional Hospital). Go to a hospital that actually has the proper pediatric resources and staff to care for your baby safely.

In February 2024 I was dx with stage 4 uterine cancer. I was referred to Dr. Rohan Faria as my…read moreoncologist. Upon meeting him I was impressed that he had read my entire file and knew everything about me instead of asking me questions about why I was there. He was incredibly thorough in not only his testing but also his treatment plan. He literally saved my life and I am now in complete remission, no longer on chemo and no longer on immunotherapy. However, he has assured me that this is not a fly by night relationship and will be with me monitoring me for the rest of my life. Instead of the stoic, cold physician most say oncologists can be, he is warm and compassionate along with great knowledge of his field.

As you can imagine... he scared the H E double hockey sticks out of me! I was floored! To receive a referral out of the blue and by mail was overwhelming! The appointment had already been made for me with Dr. Sawhney. I trusted my life once again to the Great Physician, knowing He would put me in the best hands-- and He did! He's been practicing for many years; graduated from the Univ. College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Univ, New Delhi, Delhi, India in 1989. He works in Tamarac, FL and specializes in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Sawhney is affiliated with Broward Health Coral Springs, Florida Medical Center a Campus of North Shore and Northwest Medical Center. He is professional, sensitive, soft-spoken and caring! The office building is located near University Hospital in Tamarac. Parking is a bit challenging, but the facilities are nice, and the staff is wonderful. The nurse was so sweet, and the phlebotomist who drew blood was the best I've had in a long long time. She found my vein from the get-go and she was very gentle. I was so happy, I gave her a Starbucks gift card! Dr. Sawhney was as perplexed as I was that I was there and said the referral was not only premature, but that they had skipped a step. I cried tears of relief, and he was professionally comforting. He set me up with a referral to a Gastroenterologist and I was thankful the staff made the appointment directly over the phone with the other specialist's office. Otherwise, it may have been several more weeks until I would have been able to set it up myself. My experience was 100% satisfactory and although this isn't the type of business that anyone wants to visit, should you need to, I highly recommend Dr. Sawhney. One last thing: Should you need to consult with an oncologist, please feel free to send me a short, to the point private message; no need for details. I want to pray and be whatever part of your support team you'll have me be. We're in this journey called life together--never alone!

After researching local oncologists, I chose to visit with Dr. Begas. I called and made an…read moreappointment after pressing the dedicated "new patient" prompt. The scheduler was pleasant and provided me with most, not all, of the information that I needed to know prior to my visit. She said she would send me a new patient packet to complete prior to my visit, tho, I never did receive it, so I did not have time to review the paperwork. Unfortunately, because of scheduling conflicts, I had to call back a 2nd and 3rd time to finally secure an appointment. Each time, the scheduler was pleasant, but and only provided me with most, not all, of the necessary information that I needed. They each said they would send me a new patient package, but never did. But, not ONCE during any of those conversations, did any of the schedulers explain to me that I would not only be billed for my copay (which, of course I knew I had to pay), but, that I would also be responsible for an amount more than 3x that for a "facility charge" as the Dr. is "affiliated" with BRRH. When I arrived, Rose gave me a few papers to complete, which I did standing at the main desk, rushed, as there were other patients waiting to check in. I never did gt to read the very loosely stated paragraph that says I am responsible for Dr and hospital charges. As a layperson, I interpreted that to mean that IF I was admitted to the hospital, I would be responsible for the hospital charges, which, of course, I agreed. 6 weeks go by and I received a bill for my copay, which I immediately paid. A week later, I received another bill for and additional $157.47!!! When I phoned and asked why, after she placed me on hold for over 5 minutes, Evelyn in the billing department, very matter-of-factly and with a condescending tone, informed me that the additional charge was due to the relationship the Dr. has with the hospital. I then spoke with Stacy the supervisor who, with the same matter-of-factness reiterated the same information. She did say she would "discount" my bill by $50, but the amount is still more than 2x my copay. I was emphatic that THIS INFORMATION BE DISCLOSED WHEN SPEAKING WITH THE NEW APPOINTMENT SCHEDULER so that the potential new patient can make a personal decision whether or not they want to see the Dr. I would NEVER have made the appointment. I would have gone to one the the other hundred oncologists in PBC, Patient beware! As an aside, the Dr. ordered a test for me and I never received a call to schedule it. It seems I fell thru the cracks. I even called back to ask about it and the girl I spoke with said she'd look into it and call me back, but, never did. Maybe this practice is just way to big if they can not keep track of their patients and their tests. Thank God I was only there for a consult and did not require serious treatment and attention.
