I had been working through some PPD after my second child as well as trying to lower my blood pressure which remained high postpartum. I wanted to see if I could make some improvements naturally. Dr. Jenna was wonderful from the start. She instilled a confidence in me immediately and clearly showed that she was catering a very specific plan for my use case and wasn't just going to throw blood pressure medication and antidepressants my way. Her holistic approach is coupled by her strong data mindset and incredible bedside manner. I appreciate that she is open to hear out my crazy ideas of my health without being judgmental and always makes thoughtful recommendations. I love how she always checks in with me to see how I'm feeling about the game plan to ensure I'm comfortable. When's the last time any doctor did that?! Her specific protocol helped reduce my blood pressure and now we are working with supplements that have greatly impacted my mood. She's a gem and feel very lucky to have found her!

I'm glad a friend referred me to Dr. Jenna! During our initial consultation she took her time asking me holistic questions about my health from diet and exercise to mood and stress levels. She was genuine, caring and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. It lasted 75+ minutes and it's probably the first time in my life I didn't feel rushed at the doctor. We followed up with a blood exam and another 45 min "Skype" conversation regarding the results, we set up a game plan and she even left 15 minutes for me to review and ask any questions I had! I also liked how her treatment style was all about making changes without throwing medications at the problem. Overall, a fantastic experience! I've been recommending her to all of my friends and family.

My wife and I have gone to Magnolia, at HEAL Wellness Studio, for spectacular therapeutic massages…read moreover the years but this last trip into her studio was different; I went for a hypnosis session, which turned out to be very fascinating. This visit was for what I will call an experiment in "Past Life Regression." It might also be called a parallel life regression. Well, my current perspective is that everything may well happen all at once, somewhat like old film canisters stacked in the projectionist's booth over at the Ruby Theater; they exist all at once but the POINT OF FOCUS (called "now") the projectionist has chosen only displays one frame at a time from one reel at a time. If each film reel represented one life. Then the reels could be pulled from the canisters in any order (although traditionally they are stacked and ready to present in the agreed-upon chronological arrangement). In my visit, I chose to change my "point of focus" for awhile. Thank you Magnolia, for allowing me to do the hypnosis session in a safe and familiar environment under your guidance, as although I have experienced other forms of hypnosis, this was my first introduction to virtually stepping into the moccasins of another lifetime and another environment. As always, Warm regards

I was having some resurgent trauma-related problems from being assaulted in the past and was seeking guidance through them. Calling to set up an appointment was straightforward, I had read the online profiles of the professionals and asked if I could see someone in particular (as of writing this review on Saturday 17 June 2023, the person is no longer listed as working at Bluestone). After describing my situation to the receptionist, they said that it sounded like the person I was requesting could be a good fit. So we scheduled an intake appointment in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the first appointment we set up weekly sessions thereafter until I was feeling confident enough to part ways with the therapy about two months later. I received a bit of talk and EMDR therapy in my sessions. The therapist was never short with me and I found the treatment effective for helping me work through my problems. She was professional in our sessions and never prying. I have continued to use some of the things I learned in the sessions after stopping the therapy sessions.

I felt that she was very impersonal and straight to the point. I never felt that much compassion from her. In addition, I felt that she did not have great bedside manner or manners with me at all. I felt her customer service to me was not that great. I had to cancel at the last minute a couple of times due to an emergency, and the practice and Dr. Peng told me they had to charge me a fee. Bluestone showed me no mercy, and Dr. Peng did not seem to show me any either. I felt that she also did not properly understand my conditions either. I also didn't like that when I made no follow up appointments with her that Dr. Peng reached out to me multiple times and asked me if I was interested in continuing with her. Well obviously, if I have not called you or made an appointment with the practice in months, it's evident I am no longer interested. In the end, I am glad I left. I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Peng at all. In my opinion, they have no understanding for when life situations come up and I did not feel there was good communication or compassion towards patients either by either Dr. Peng or the staff of bluestone.

Integrated techniques include Lymph Drainage Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Fluid Pressure Dynamics, Visceral Manipulation, and Shiatsu Acupressure. Two or more techniques are utilized in unison, with the goal of enhancing the motlity of structures, in conjunction with the fluids moving in and out of structures, to create more fluidity and better balanced movement of structures, including muscles, joints, organs, nerves; everything is always moving to a rhythm of the circulation of fluids and/or nerve impulses. It is my job to optimize that movement, within the parameters of those natural rythms, for where you are at with your own posture and health on any given day, which allows further gain in everyday living. Typically, I use Lymph Drainage Therapy to cover body regions, all the while finding areas of tension, pressure points, trigger points, adhesions, which I tend to treat with a combination of Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofascial Release. Both these techniques require a sustained holding of a pattern, which can be either pointed, or broad handed, usually some combination of both. At some point, while still holding this pattern, I typically start to apply a very subtle lymph drainage technique while still holding the steady pressure, until tension changes.
