After 10+ years of allowing this business to do my taxes it comes down to an audit in 2020 that due to McCoy Accounting Service negligence. He doesn't want to be responsible for assistance with the debt and wants to manipulate the the system at the taxpayers expenses. I ask McCoy Acctng to pay the interest and penalty on the tax debt given that the McCoy sign as the tax preparer and I will pay the other part of the debt as the tax payer. Unable to collect and now have to burden of the entire bill alone. Don't take your taxes to McCoy Accounting Tax Service you may get audited and left out hanging on a limb without this business backing.

I have several pending accounting items that need to be cleared up and Teewa and her team have ghosted me. I'm probably facing penalties because of their inaction in the middle of a pandemic as a struggling business owner. I have left several messages and e-mails with zero response. Yet, they continue to post on social media like they haven't left customers in a lurch. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but the posting on social media while ignoring customers is a no for me. Take your business elsewhere.

When this issue was first brought to Teewa's attention she blamed her Drake software for filing errors on our business and personal taxes but has yet to provide a resolution or refund. We have made several calls to her office as well as sent emails requesting evidence of submission and/or the technology issues but all communication with her has ceased. The Bookkeepers Accounting Services has left us without 2021 Federal and State tax returns and the inability to do business in DC due to FAILURE to file taxes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TEEWA AKERS OR THE BOOKKEEPERS ACCOUNTING SERVICES. She will take your money and fail to deliver on the services promised.
