When I called three other massage therapists, they were all booked, some for multiple days and one…read morewas booked solid for two weeks. I discovered Ton and gave him a call. First, he called back within an hour of my leaving him a voice mail message. Second, he was open with many times and was available. Third, he sounded very respectful. He arrived ten minutes early and was ready to go. Thai massage is similar in some ways to shiatsu. It is not done on a table, rather, it is done on a pad on the floor. Ton did not use oil. He worked on key pressure points and as the first 30 minutes progressed, he began with gentle pressure, but as time passed, he "turned up the volume" so to speak and applied more pressure. For some reason or other, he almost instinctively knew just how much pressure to apply. Thai massage is very different than Swedish massage, yet it isn't as aggressive as some other "pressure point" massages. Some forms of massage lull you to sleep. Thai massage is a little different. In the latter half of the session, Ton began to use stretching techniques which were right on with what issues cause me woe. In my case, muscle spasms in the lower back causes me chronic back pain. So, Ton worked on associative muscles that work with the muscles of the lower back and those were the ones he stretched. By this, I mean hamstrings, glutes, thigh muscles, etc. Then, he worked on stretching the muscles of the lower back towards the final minutes of the session. While also making a "tour" of my body, he found some sensitive areas in my left shoulder. Ton went to work by using pressure point therapy in a way different than what I am accustomed to when undergoing traditional massage. I give Ton five stars for several reasons, but availability, reasonable price, addressing my issues, working on key point that are corrective and therapeutic FOR ME are the key reasons I award him five stars. Try researching Thai massage, and if its right for you, give Ton a shout. I have not checked out his website, as time for me was rather tight yesterday when I called him. I'm glad I did. However, if your body is very sensitive and you think that pressure point massage might not be your thing, you could discuss that with Ton and then make the decision if Thai massage is the right thing for you. Ton told me that I'd be sore the next day. I was not. But I felt some definite improvement. When I next return to Ketchum and Sun Valley, I will definitely contact him again.

I initially saw him for basic adjustments and then I experienced a good old-fashioned case of whiplash in a go-cart accident which resulted in more care for my neck and back. Neck and back injuries can be very frightening, but Dr. Stern was extremely thorough in his evaluation and answered all questions I had. We appreciate his willingness to spend adequate time with each of us and not only care for us in the moment but always goes the extra mile to ensure we have exercise plans for when we leave. Our daughter is a year-round USA swimmer and has been a patient of Dr Stern for about the past 4 years. He has done an amazing job of "Keeping her in the fast lane". She is very outdoorsy and enjoys all the extreme sports that our area has to offer. While cliff jumping a few years ago she jarred her back and was immediately into Dr. Stern to focus on getting her back into alignment and strong. She recently took a fall while skiing and has been challenged with a right hip ailment. Dr. Stern has spent adequate time with her evaluating this particular injury, completing muscle testing, and she is now going through a series of sessions to focus on these weak muscles. We can't say enough about the compassion and true interest he has in seeing our athlete succeed and move forward to greatness. While under his care she won a Western Zones Age Group Championship in the 100 Breaststroke and at this time is a 3-time Idaho State High School Breaststroke Champion. Ketchum Chiropractic and their staff are hands down legit! We can't say enough about Dr. Aaron Stern and Nicole and their willingness and desire to care for each of us and our needs. We are typically able to get in on short notice and we are very thankful for the ability to book out well in advance. We always look forward to the friendly faces, conversation and next visits.

I have been coming to Zenergy for years, and this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to…read moreleave a review. Zenergy has long been considered the premier spa in Sun Valley, which is exactly why this experience was so surprising. I booked a $400 HydraFacial the week before my wedding and expected a level of service that matched both the price and the reputation. My fiancé booked a men's facial while I booked the HydraFacial. About 10 minutes into our appointments, I realized we had been given each other's treatments. I was receiving the men's facial, while my fiancé, who is a man, had been started on my HydraFacial. I was the one who caught the mistake. Instead of handling it themselves, my esthetician told me she could not interrupt my fiancé's facial, so I had to get completely dressed, leave my treatment room, and go to the front desk to sort it out myself. By the time everything was resolved, my HydraFacial did not begin until 4:25 and ended at 4:55, leaving only about 30 minutes of treatment. Unfortunately, the facial itself was equally disappointing. The lights were never dimmed, the knee cushion was never adjusted, and aside from using the HydraFacial device once, there was essentially no facial performed. It felt rushed and nowhere close to what I would expect from a $400 treatment. My fiancé was also disappointed with his facial. He described it as mostly lotion being rubbed on his face with very little else. We were also surprised to learn that the same person who had done my manicure a few weeks earlier was performing his facial... To Zenergy's credit, they waived the charges, and I appreciated that gesture. What ultimately prompted me to leave this review, however, was the email I received afterward from the spa manager. Rather than acknowledging the service failures, the response focused on explaining booking procedures and HydraFacial contraindications, implying that we had somehow misunderstood the appointments. That was never the issue. The issue was the mix up, the fact that I lost a significant portion of my appointment because of an error I had to identify and resolve myself, and the quality of the service we ultimately received. My family, friends, and I have been coming to Zenergy for years, and we have never felt the need to complain. Lately, I have been hearing from more and more people around Sun Valley that they feel Zenergy has been going downhill, and I sincerely hope that is not the case. The facilities are beautiful, and the vast majority of the staff has always been wonderful. That is exactly why this experience, and especially the response from management, was so disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because Zenergy has built an incredible reputation, and I would hate to see that standard slip.
