They were most professional all along the process, from estimate to clean-up. Reasonably Priced, On Time, Fast, and Thorough. Though I've used other painting companies in the past who did a good job, I could tell the difference in quality of work from Southern. I'm no expert, but you could just look at the detail in the work (ala the fine lines) to see the distinction. Rooms were transformed. Highly recommended. Bob and Kathy

It is an absolute honor to write this review: Liliana and…read moreher crew are the nest, most detailed and hard-working people I have met in seven ling years of renovations. I found her company so late in the game. She came on our final finish-out before listing our home. Everyone that entered our home took great care to respect the floors and walls that didn't need work. Everyone was kind, skilled and willing to do any job from caulking to painting and they always cleaned the areas perfectly after. It's like they were never here except everything looks fresh and new. Every paint line is perfect. Every caulk line is perfect. What a great experience! I recommend this company above any other painter we have worked with in a very long and drawn-out renovation. And we had many! We have had terrible painters and we have had decent painters. This crew was beyond expectations. For value: 100% worth every penny. She wasn't the cheapest bid. But, we learned the hard way cheapest isn't always best. She wasn't the most expensive either! She clearly knew what she was doing when she priced the job and she came through 100%. BONUS: The crew showed up on time every day without fail. One week of finish-out painting. Not fun work. They were Never late. Not once. And, after COVID, that is impossible to find. Clearly the crew are taken care of well by the business. What a great experience at the end of an exhausting renovation. Thank you Liliana and crew!!! I've posted your company on my neighborhood FB page and I hope you get tons of business! Yelpers: I would post pics but this was all detail work and would show the true care and talent in photos!

We had DFW Painting repaint our entire house after we purchase it. This included walls, ceiling,…read moretrim, and some cabinets. They also repaired some large drywall cracks and gaps that opened up due to recent foundation work, as well as two water-damaged windowsills. Our project manager was Damien. Our painting crew was led by Victor. Quote -- they were in the middle of the range, about 1/2 as much as the most expensive quote. The quote process was much more of a "consultation" where he explained all the work and repairs in detail and why each one was necessary. Other companies were just about getting to the final price as quickly as possible, instead of helping us understand each element of work necessary. Quality of work -- house was painted exactly to plan. There was some confusion about one room with a complicated roof line, but after a quick conversation with our project manager we sorted it out without extra expense or time spent. Timing -- The crew finished up a day ahead of schedule. We did not require any touch-ups. Cleanup -- No issues. The house was mostly free of dust and there were only a few "drips" that all came up with some scrubbing. All furniture was protected. Damien is highly professional and very detail-oriented. We were very happy with the work done.

Around 9:00 AM, someone called me to schedule an appointment for the following week. I did schedule for the following week because I honestly thought they were a different painting company, since I had contacted several and also had other estimates being scheduled. I never heard her clearly say she was calling to reschedule today's confirmed appointment. She may have thought she explained that, but the communication of that critical piece was very vague and brief. A proper introduction should have been something like: "Hi, this is Elizabeth with DFW Painting. I know we have you scheduled today at 10:00 AM, but unfortunately we need to reschedule due to..." That would have made the situation clear. That is a basic and proper opening line for something like this. Because her communication was so unclear, I didn't even realize she was canceling today's appointment and that they were the ones that were already scheduled to come. I am an executive who communicates via email, virtually and in person every day. I am well-versed in proper communication. That confusion and lack of professionalism is why I decided not to move forward with them. Communication is paramount.

We hired Tracy and All Trade Pros for a remodeling project in 2015 when we moved into our house. He gave us an estimate and we signed the contract. After the job started, we paid Tracy every week and never missed a payment. However, when we paid more than 80% of the agreed payment to finish the job, Tracy claimed he needed more funds to complete the project. It wasn't just a small amount, he asked us to pay him $20K more! He also admitted he made a mistake in estimating the cost of the project and decided to tell us after we made most of the payments. I felt like it was his tactic to give us a low estimate to secure the job, but did a horrible job in budgeting and we, the homeowners, paid the price. We then agreed to end the contract and just move on with someone else, as long as he refunds us $6k out of $50k that we paid him. He agreed to refund the money (I have physical proof of his agreement if anyone wants to validate). Until this day, we still have not received the refund. We tried to work out a payment plan and waited patiently for months, but he decided to cut all communications. We had no choice, so we filed a claim with the court and the judge ruled in our favor and sent out a judgement to him, but still no replies.
