Having only recently decided to sample the wares here myself, I am very glad I did as I've now found the home of my new favourite Quiche. If you too enjoy traditional, non-gourmet style quiches, then you have to try the aforementioned Quiche Lorraine. Tasty, moist and freshly baked, and best of all with REAL ham slices (not the processed chucks of pretend ham you often find in quiches, and probably far more cream and salt than I'd care to know about). I picked out a slice of the blueberry cheesecake and some mousey death-by-chocolate extravaganza and we continued down to Town Hall to sit on the wall (like classy girls do), eat cake and people watch. I was disappointed that the shop didn't have birthday candles, but we sang anyway. The cakes were, eh, decent. I wouldn't have been surprised to learn that the cheesecake was made out of shop and frozen. The chocolate mouse was fluffy but had some sort of strange plastic aftertaste. I would definitely NOT recommend this place for the quality of their desserts, but if you happen to be in the area and in a cake-related pinch, it will do.
