They charged $6.49 per gallon for regular unleaded! They are clearly taking advantage that they are the closest gas station to the airport. I stopped by and got gas, started pumping and saw the price was $6.49/gal when I paid $3.84/gal yesterday in my wife's car within 10 miles of this location. I went in and asked if the price was correct. Gray haired, shorter man behind counter said yes, I questioned it because what I had paid the day before. He stated it was correct and that the station across street was $5.97/gal. Then he proceeded to ask me if I wanted to reconsider my statement., which I said no, and he proceeded to call me an idiot. I just received a warning from this station located near the airport on Semoran Blvd for cleaning my car mats outside of my car. I made sure not to leave any papers or bags, and I asked if I had left the area dirty, and they told me I hadn't, but that they don't like customers doing that. They told me not to do it again. I understand and appreciate the observation they made, but the tone of their voice and the rudeness with which they said it was unbelievable and out of place. This place has a long history of shameful behavior, charging exorbitantly for gas simply because they are convenient to the airport and taking advantage of people not noticing the price or in too much of a rush to seek gas elsewhere. This is a place that would sell gas for up to four times the going rate for gas and just laugh it up as people are forced to pay five or six dollars a gallon.
