A week later I could hear something loose in one of the rear drums - rattling around. I took it back to their shop. When I came back, they said nothing was wrong and charged me $40. There was obviously something the mechanic missed the first time during installation. It was the same mechanic who checked it out when I came back. I'm guessing he said there was nothing wrong to cover his own butt, and quietly fixed his error. I should not have been charged.

Because the tire on the Range Rover was a unique size unfortunately he didn't have a replacement but was willing to see if he could help us. He was able to plug the tire with his new technique of using a rubber screw with cement I believe it was to give us a temporary fix. He was very informative of what steps he was taking to try to fix it. Even though it was very late Nathan showed up and was so nice. If you have tire issues, need fuel, locked out of your car, or a jump start Nathan with Avid road service is the place to call!

I had a faulty battery that was less than a year old, and my car was showing multiple problems on the dash. Each time I would take it and have a diagnostic ran, it came up as a new issue. I took my vehicle to this shop fully expecting to spend quite a lot fixing multiple issues; however, they identified that my battery was the culprit. I did have one sensor that was malfunctioning. I was charged a small amount for labor and the price of the part. Since my battery was under warranty, I had it replaced for free. This shop could have easily told me that I needed to spend, at least, $1,000 to repair my car. I would have expected it. I even told them I fully expected a major issue and showed them the diagnostic tests. This shop did the reputable thing and charged an extremely fair price instead of gouging a customer. Unfortunately, that is a rare find in a mechanic.
