She did a great job working out the perfect tattoo for me, it wasn't elaborate but it's what I was looking for. The shop with do touch up for life or address any issues, if any arise. I went into another shop prior, and I didn't feel comfortable and decided it wasn't the place for me. I'm glad we decided to stop in Suncoast to check them out. Just stopped in at the tail end of my trip and got a couple tattoos with my cousin. Within moments of walking in we were greeted and the pieces we had our sights on were being designed. The shop was immaculately clean, there was dope artwork anywhere your eyes fell and they played cool movies while you waited and got worked on. From everything i witnessed they stressed to the max health protocols and they were adamant in their after care instructions. I had the pleasure of working with Rich who absolutely killed the idea I had, I could not be more happy with it and my cousin who was a first timer got an incredible piece from Josh. I stopped in on vacation for a little piece of Florida before I left. I am so happy I went to Sun Coast and saw Chris. I originally went for a simple, small black piece but upon speaking with him he came up with this beautiful colored piece that blew me away. So the reason for two stars is the artist we dealt with is near impossible to get in touch with. He's a good artist but if you need touch ups it's near impossible to get an appointment. I tried for 2 months to schedule a "tap out session " but was told 4 different times to call back. When I get ink I have to take a few days off work so it was important to make this appointment a head of time. It's frustrating because we finally thought we found a good artist to stay with. My Niece and I came in to get similar tattoos, after having a recommendation to see Rich Armstrong. First, I'd like to say he was easy to get into contact with. And if you look up his work, he does awesome art. When we arrived he reviewed the artwork we brought in, and then he spoke to us about modifications, color etc. He was very friendly, as well as the owner and other staff members. The place Is very clean. He had an extremely light touch. Very skillful, really appreciated that. As well as how kind he was to both of us, since we are new to getting tats. Both tattoos, although simple designs, came out beautifully. The details and lines are perfect. We are very happy with how they came out. I got my tattoo last June but I am heading back and it reminded me to review them. My friend and I made an appt and paid our deposit. We showed up at our appointment time. First, you had the heavy metal played at ear-bleeding volume cliche. There was one artist and the owner. The owner sat around doing nothing and although he did chat with us some, it was not very comfortable. When the artist was finally ready for us (at least 30 minutes after we got there) we gave him our very simple designs. I asked the artist to make some minor modifications and to adjust the size. He acted like it was a huge pain and kept asking, "is this ok?" It wasn't great but I said yes because, well, it's like the hairdresser or doctor, you figure they know best. This was my third tattoo and I've never felt so rushed before. The actual tattooing was fine. As my tattoo started to heal. I noticed a couple of patchy spots and one spot where it looked like he left the needle to long before moving it. In the end, I had to get it re-done. I still don't love it but it is on my wrist and I have to live with it. Their prices were reasonable but I would never go back. There is a difference between laid back and lazy. read more
