The egg rolls are gross--it's mostly all wrapper and doughy on the inside, clearly mass manufactured and cheaply too with barely a hint of cabbage and tiny bit of carrot in it. The Karaage was not as good as it used to be, and the curry was awful when it used to be delicious. The chicken Omurice was still delicious with lots of chicken chunks and the portion was much larger, but that's not enough to bring us back again.

I ordered the Okinawa soba for myself, and the flavor of the broth was amazing and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The pork in my soba was so tender and flavorful. There was a little bit of a kick to it, but not too bad for anybody who doesn't handle spicy well. I would absolutely return. It was perfect for a date night.

Cutely decorated in asian decor. It's actually very well lit for pictures too! lol I ordered the Spicy Chicken Pad Thai, and it was incredible. The flavor was spot on with just the right amount of heat. I also had the lettuce wraps. They were a little sweeter than my personal preference, but they were still fresh, flavorful, and very well made. Great food, exceptional service, and an experience that makes you want to come back. If you're in Jacksonville, do yourself a favor and ask for Aquilas you won't be disappointed!

The portions were good and some of the sides were original and clever. I had a Pho, it was large but not just filled with broth. There were lots of all the good stuff to fill me up. I would have liked more cilantro but otherwise there was plenty to eat. We also ordered a kind of steamed potstickers and a corned beef rueben style egg roll! I've never had that before, and it was tasty. Music was a little loud for me and it's a bit confusing if you come in the back where they prepare some foods and it looks like its two different restaurants. I did feel a little pressured to figure out what to order. I would have preferred to sit down with a menu and look it over because there were many options to consider. I'm sure we will come back, we were very satisfied and everyone treated us well.

This is the only Soba I've tried that is good & flavorful in town. The ribs the used for my soba was tender and wasn't dry at all. Overall, a good experience and I'd come back to try more!

Our experience here today was very good. We enjoyed our meal and experience. If you've been on the fence about trying this restaurant, I recommend giving it a try. Its moody lighting and oriental decor really brings a nice ambiance to your meal. Our waitress was nice and made sure to check on us throughout the night. The food though is interesting..we ordered a katsudon (rice, omelet, fried cutlet) the egg was SOO salty!! It was brown from how much soy sauce(?) they drench it in and we had to scrape it off. The rice and fried cutlet itself is good but that omelet is abysmal. On the complete opposite hand, the meat inside our gyoza appetizer had no flavoring.. The sushi is great, easily the best part about this restaurant. I loved how crispy their deep fried sushi is, but with other great sushi spots around for better prices, it's not enough to return. Overall, a 3/5 experience.
