Very expensive storage units…read more Their snow plows pushed the roll-up door to my unit off the track which now provides an opening at the bottom corner when the door is closed for critters to enter. Additionally, the off-track door also is not able to open fully, making it difficult to move tall items in/out and the door is also difficult to open. I asked them to repair it about 10 months ago and it still isn't repaired. They changed payment systems recently and instead of keeping everyone's auto payment information intact, they deleted all the information and are requiring renters to create new accounts and re-enter payment information. Now they are threatening to charge late fees saying that it is my problem that they deleted my payment information. Unbelievable, go elsewhere for your storage needs. EDIT: Within an hour of posting this review and debating with them via text about their new policy, I received a message from Silver Creek Storage stating that I am now required to provide proof of insurance. Very vindictive of them. I'll be vacating next month, good riddance to this place.

The rental process is fairly straight forward on their website you can reserve one before you go. I was on a spring cleaning rant and so I just called and they had the size I needed so I went down. You can bring your own lock which I did but the manager said you should use a disk lock. Since I was just storing some old close I went with my lock because the stuff isn't that valuable. Best of all if you check in on Yelp you get 5 percent off they don't advertise it so that is my tip. Also expert tip as for one on the edge of the building so it's easy to remember where it is.

We had stored our Polaris RZR & Motorcycle on our trailer while passing through town on vacation to…read moreensure our items were safe while we enjoyed Park City for a week. All items locked , trailer hitch locked and away from street view. Someone from inside the facility was able to breach spaceplace security, go unnoticed for over an HOUR dismantling our locks, and drove out with our trailer 26 HOURS AFTER dropping it off in broad daylight. At the end of our vacation, we came to pick up our trailer and we're devastated to see another empty trailer in its place , and spaceplace's response was a shrug, and took no responsibility for our stolen items. Spaceplace after several days of requests, and police intervention with days of delay provided security footage, and details to police. They made us feel like this was OUR fault, they seemed more concerned with us telling our story to try to recover our items making them and their business look bad. The manager would not provide owner information for us to plead for swift action as every day that passed our items were further and further from recovery. This location is not safe or secure, and we hope no one ever has to go through what we have over last few weeks searching, pleading, and trying to get our things back and criminals caught.

I was…read moremoving personal possessions out of a secondary residence to a new home I had bought, but I was only in town a couple of days. I lined them up for Monday at noon and they knew I was leaving town on Wednesday. A snowstorm hit on Monday and they had to tow two of their trucks out of the canyon, so they couldn't get to me. I understand weather problems, but: 1. They never even called me. I had to call them to find out that they were not only going to be late that day but, in fact, that they were never going to make it that day at all. 2. While they promised to get back to me right away with a reschedule, I had to keep calling and calling to try to get an answer. Meanwhile, time was ticking away quickly. 3. Ultimately, after telling me they would be able to get me in some time the next day, they then reneged and said they couldn't take care of me at all while I was in town. Basically, they didn't want to bump anyone on Tuesday or Wednesday to take care of me, because I was just a small job. They left me completely stranded and, if not for Aaron at Park City Moving Company (who rearranged bigger jobs on his schedule and started his guys early to get me done before my plane left), I would have been totally out of luck. I later was trying to relax from my stress of having the watch stolen and wanted to listen to music. Thats when I noticed my bose wirless headset was gone as well. I then called the police and made a police report. I called the manager the next day. He immediately was basically calling me a liar and saying his guys would never and they must have packed the items which weren't a specified item to pack. The police said he had problems getting in contact with them. I called them back and was berated by the manager in the end he said because you went to the cops he can't talk to me. The owner never got back to me at my request. The officer hasn't got back to me either. I have since gone through all of my boxes and everywhere in the house again as well just in case. They are obviously ok with having thieves on their pay roll and don't care if something does happen to you. I'm sure not all of their people are thieves but they should know that it does happen sometimes and do something to fix it. All i wanted was my items back or for them to reimburse me for the value of the items at least. I have receipts for the items in case anyone was wondering and i also tipped those thieves 60$ each.
