I've got a number of these calls mentioned here. I went to the bbb and Reddit and apparently this place went out of business a few years ago. I was told the people calling all of us is summit recovery service . Not services I've received calls from 762 888 8185 762 213 8329. I have a serious illness and these calls are driving me nuts read more

This is a scam using false public record information. They have your name and final 4 of your social. They however, called a wrong number to get to me, and stated it was for a debt with a company I've never done business with. Have to appreciate the data breaches of other companies giving these turds almost enough information to seem legitimate. read more

I've been getting calls from these people too. Today I asked them for a validation notice on this debt which contains the details of the debt that Debra T. requested. We'll see what happens next, but I've been hounded by these clowns for a couple of months. They've called so many times that it's now considered harassment. The first time they called they said it was for a payday loan. I only used a payday loan 21 years ago and I don't remember not paying it. I think that if it were a true debt, someone would have notified me by now. I was ready for their call today because I contacted the CFPB to prepare myself for their calls. They empowered me with very useful info and I recommend them highly. I also googled them and found that the company in NH is different from the one we're all talking about here. The one in New Hampshire is a drug recovery business, not a debt collector. read more

F these people. I have received automated message calls from them for a long time. Years maybe. I called them back once. Asked the appropriate questions then promptly told them to take me to court. The person on the other end got aggressive. Scammers. I block every time they call but they just spoof different numbers. It will never end. Also they normally call before any business debt collector is legally allowed to solicit people. Normally 6 am my time. I brought that up and was hung up on. All of them are POS. read more

Try harassing the people that actually owe you money or confirm their phone numbers before loaning money. I'm tired of all the harassing phone calls every day using robo dialers. There is NEVER a human on the other end and no one would ever in today's times press any number. I'm up for filing a class action suit at this point. I have a terminal illness and receive no fewer than ten calls weekly looking for someone I've never known. I've asked for this number to be removed and have blocked over a hundred numbers. read more

I received a call this morning from +13644442941, Summit Recovery Service. Spoke to Holly, who claimed that I owe over a thousand dollars to a cash advance company. I laughed at her because it is a SCAM. Be careful! She knew my name and the last 4 of my ss#. I guess with all the data breaches happening, they were able to obtain my info. Scary times we're living in. read more

These people have called me many times in the past week on a phone number 509-8 00-4544. When I asked for information they said that I had used a cash service, I have never used a cash service. I spoke to Amanda and Connor both of whom chose to hang up on me when I asked them for a copy of the original contract with my signature for the debt, full payment history from the original creditor, the name and address of the original creditor, proof that they now own or have been assigned the debt to collect. I believe this is a fake call and that these people are trying to take advantage hoping that people will just pay money out. read more

Got one of these calls today, came from a 971 456 0148, saying I needed to call an 855 number to speak about a matter with their office. I said I have never had a payday loan, they are a scam and to never call me again or I will involve law enforcement read more

Navigating the Crypto Minefield: My Successful Bitcoin Recovery Story. I was introduced to crypto trading by a friend I met on Instagram. Initially, it was an exciting journey, but things took a turn when my friend vanished, leaving me to navigate the complexities of cryptocurrency on my own. I had managed to accumulate an impressive £49,809 worth of Bitcoin through my efforts. However, my experience quickly soured when I attempted to withdraw my funds from a platform called OEX.The process began smoothly, but when I tried to transfer my Bitcoin to my Coinbase wallet, I encountered a troubling roadblock. The platform's support team informed me that in order to complete the withdrawal, I needed to deposit 10% of the total assets I wished to transfer. They assured me that once I made this deposit, I would receive a one-time address for the transfer, and my withdrawal would be processed promptly.Trusting their words, I complied and sent the required amount. Unfortunately, after I made the deposit, the platform came up with more excuses. It became clear that I was caught in a scam, and my funds were at serious risk. Frustrated and anxious, I began researching ways to recover my assets. That's when I came across Digital Web Recovery. After reaching out, I was met with professionalism and empathy. These idiots have called me on and off for months. Called today from a number I thought was my Dr calling. It was a recording to dial some other number. I dialed back the number that called me. The guy said I had a debt in collections. Told him, "Funny, it's not on my credit report"I told him to send me a bill. He said they'd already sent one out. Told him they hadn't. They call you with a robocall then when you call back to speak to a live person they tell you you owe a debt and are going to proceed with other legal means without validating the debt or giving you any information. They also do not give information on where they are located. They are not with the better Business bureau because I look them up already. They are not nice they accuse you of lying which is a red flag to me that this is a fraud call. Then they blocked me. read more

I have been repeatedly contacted by scammers posing as debt collectors under this business name (SRS), which they say stands for Summit Recovery Services. They had previously been calling me a few months ago, announcing themselves as MRS, but under the same pretext of trying to collect on a debt from "EZ Cash." They call every several weeks, but blocking their number doesn't work, as they keep changing their callback number. They declined to tell me a physical location where this transaction took place, but they provided a time during March of 2018, but I wasn't in the country at that time, nor do I ever take out payday loans. No such debt is listed on my credit report, and the story I got was that the client didn't report it to the credit bureaus, which doesn't add up. I asked them where a payment check might be mailed, but they declined to provide an address, stating that due to COVID restrictions, payments would only be accepted electronically by providing a credit or debit card number. When I pressed them for their business location, I was told their headquarters was at a bogus residential address in Jacksonville, FL. Somehow they managed to get their hands on some of my personal information, which is rather disturbing. ! . read more

Recieved a call this afternoon from 712-847-7016, it was automated recording that said, push 1 to be transferred. I pushed 1, the guy on the other end was very rude and got angry when I wouldn't verify my social with him. He eventually hung up on me - I called them back and this guy mentioned that I had verified by social with the pervious "agent" but he needed to verify it again. I informed him that I would not give him my social and he asked if I would verify the last 4, if he told me what they were. Again, I refused - he proceeded to tell me that it was for a debt from EZ Check Cashing from 2021 -- and that I might not remember because it was so long ago. Well, I never have written a check at any check cashing place!! He then asked if somebody close to me could have possibly written the check ... What ?!?! For one -- I don't even have checks now or in 2021. read more

Received a call from Summit Recovery Services (SRS) today. They want to speak to my partner. I attempted to find out what the call was about and what they a company did, but they refused to tell me on both accounts. When I persisted trying to find out what the company did the person called me stupid. A little research indicates that they are a debt collection agency, but they would not admit that (red flag for me). We owe no debts, so I have to conclude that the call was not legitimate. read more

They say they are trying to collect on a payday loan I supposedly took out in 2019. I haven't taken any payday loan since MAYBE 2010 (?). I filed for bankruptcy and it was discharged in October of 2012. These "recovery services" buy data from other "recovery services" and try to use it to get money. The 2019 date, is the date that they bought the data and was entered into their own system. The original payday loan was taken out in 2011, and it was adjudicated through my bankruptcy in 2012. read more
