The nursing staff is always friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. The only reason I don't give it all 5 stars is because the parking is kinda tight. The spaces designated for patients are very slim. I've noticed SUV's taking up 2 spaces to fit, which is an inconvenience for smaller cars or sedans. If you're looking for a pediatrician I highly recommend Dr. Baxley. She's very patient, personable and thorough. Always willing to answer any questions you have, and she treats her patients as if they were her own children. The sweet nurses and doctors have been the best. Loss of one star for always taking at least two hours when other practices can be more efficient, but overall, the best care. This is more so a general review than a review about a recent experience…read more 1) Reception The receptionists are nice, but if you have a balance of any kind, just say you know and move on, because I asked one time and they let me know the total -- but they said it loudly enough that the rest of the waiting room could hear it too. Embarrassing to say the least. If you call them, they're nice too, but often they'll hang up immediately after you're done, no time for pleasantries. 2) Nurses The nurses here are and have always been phenomenal. Shoutout to Porsha especially, as she always greets us with a smile and takes great care of my partner and I's daughter. 3) Doctors We've met with a few of the pediatricians here, and our standard pediatrician, Dr. Brian Dudgeon, is the best out of all of them. He was actually my partner's pediatrician when she was born (his first patient) so having that level of connection is amazing. He'll take the time with you to explain what's going on, what he believes will fix it, and proceed cautiously through there. 4) Overall: I would highly recommend Greenvale Pediatrics - Hoover. The benefits fully outweigh the negatives of visiting, and if you can get seen by Dr. Dudgeon, I fully, fully recommend it!
