I have used them for 2 years and there is ALWAYS a problem. This time, took off work, drove down for them to argue my dental insurance is void. I spoke with delta dental- nope. Called them back, they continued to argue over the next 10 days. My insurance is good. reconfirmed today. So i guess I am looking for another dentist. You are just another cow in the herd at this place. If they make a mistake- YOU will literally PAY because they won't verify. read more

I can't remember exactly when my last dental check up was. In the before times certainly. I had to go because a crown fell out. So far my assessment and treatment experience has been positive. The front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to work with dental insurance limitations and be clear about costs and timing. My x-rays and examination occured without problem or pain. I have not yet been able to get my extraction and bridge work because my blood pressure was too high. I respect that discernment too. The real review can happen after I get my procedures completed. So far I like the office atmosphere. . . to be continued. I trust I'll be able to give them that 5th star Update: Nov 19, 2024 I have no problem with the dental work itself at Summit Dental. But i strongly advise you not to use Summit because of their fraudulent practices. Two times I have walked out of the office Paid In Full for the work i received at the time only to be told weeks or months later that i owe them money. And this last time they didn't even have a reason on their books about why i owed them money. Only to later to be told that the insurance did not pay what they thought it would pay so i owe this money now. This last time they tried to charge me again double billing for the money they charged the last time because my previous payment was not on the books. None of these were emergency appointments, they had talked to the insurance company and had determined who was going to pay what and told me what I'd owe long before the service was provided. In between these erroneous charges their books showed that i owed no money. So my account balance was zero until these charges popped up with no explanation. These charges were not agreed to. I never agreed to these extra charges i only agreed to pay the price they told me for services provided. These are fraudulent charges for no particular services and given no explanation, just excuses. These charges were not put on by mistake and have nothing to do with the insurance company. This is just money they add to the bill without explanation. To the point that they tried to put what they claimed i owe onto my partner's dental bill without explanation. Saying you're charging one thing then charging something else without explanation is fraud. read more

*Neanderthal is an understatement!!! I would LOVE to give a 0 star review. I was called names and screamed at by Dr Eddy, I refuse to see dentists now bc of his treatment. My daughter was 4 months old. I was taking tests every other day, proving I wasn't doing anything wrong. My dad and sister both had this problem show up the same time in their lifetimes. Same age almost, exactly. So I was going to church, with the judge in town, three times weekly, dance classes, and came to see the dentist about two teeth hurting continuously. Constant pain, all the time like a pick axe. Or jackhammer driving into my jaw over and over again. He shot my mouth full of Novocaine. Then he began talking sheeeeeit. Saying I'd never take care of my teeth, that I'd never do anything to better myself, shouting to everyone that I had "meth mouth". I was in shock, I went outside to call my mom, asking her what to do, she couldn't understand me. He then proceeded to take out the 3, three, I agreed to. Then he said "while I'm here, I'll just take out the other 2, two, I should have seen an attorney about the abuse and maltreatment. I was to get 13 fillings on a later date. But after that, I just wanted to rest. And to get as far away from him as possible! So the day I was to get the fillings, I showed up, as promised, but declined treatment. asked them to please allow me to see the supervisor of the clinic. And I asked the one I spoke with to put in my file how I was refusing treatment and everything thereafter was due to his negligence and maltreatment toward me. I see a pattern here. There's never an excuse to make a patient unresponsive and docile, while ignoring, completely their needs! My daughter is 4 now. My mouth is a wreck, but I don't have someone like him screaming at me and throwing things!!! And that's worth it, I suppose. Other than the non stop decay and abscesses. And I've been seeking out a compassionate, or halfway caring dentist to help with restoring my mouth, because I have serious anxiety about doing so, because of Dr Eddy! No one on this planet deserves to be treated like utter trash by this man, l'm so sorry so many have experienced this! Call me the dental industry has left with the people of the United States behind my entire mouth needs an overhaul. I believe he should fix it. Since it's his fault I was treated so abhorrently when I finally asked for help. I could go into detail in order to help someone else, but will simply say that after my initial visit {the hygienist [I am assuming that is what she is] was EXCELLENT in answering my questions/concerns about food/bacteria getting under my new bridge that was scheduled to take place} and was then told there wasn't enough time to complete the work and we re-scheduled for today 12/13/21 at 1:00 PM CST. I arrived at 12:50 and checked in and sat down, the sweet "hygienist" came out and escorted me to the room where she prepared several items -- I then waited THIRTY SEVEN MINUTES {37!} and Dr. Sandburg came in and proceeded to lambast me about "what are we going to do today?/YOU tell me what we're going to do today!/you cost me 2 hours last time, so now tell me what we are going to do!!!" As I had {AND STILL DO} concerns about food getting under a "bridge" AND Dr. Sandburg's ATTITUDE didn't work for me putting your hands and tools in MY mouth -- I left!!!!! I did call back and talked with a nice girl who gave me the Dr's name -- that is when I stated that I had just left my attorney's office and will definitely sue them IF they try and charge me a penny!!!!! Since then, I have now found about another "patient" who had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, was charged a LOT of money and the work was never completed! I couldn't submit WITHOUT as "star rating" and chose "1" as there isn't anything lower! Can you say Barbarian??? Dr. Eddy is the worst dentist I have ever had the displeasure of seeing! I was finally over my fear of dentists after 40 yrs. And he ruined that in 1 visit! He pulled 10 teeth and took a break. Came back about 15 minutes later and was pulling one that was broken! I screamed in agony! He let the number wear off. He just rolled his eyes and gave me another shot! Told me to swallow the blood and the bone fragments "their natural" he said! I gagged and almost hyperventilated! That was an experience that has traumatized me from ever going to another dentist again! This man should not be allowed to practice dentistry!!! read more

The management team or whoever is responsible for scheduling does not know how to do their job I had appointment on the 22nd of November and I have two or three confirmations on my phone and two confirmations on my husband's phone I showed up at 8 in the morning on the 22nd just for them to say oh we don't have your schedule today as very irate I please ask him to recheck because I've already scheduled my day off scheduled for childcare my husband took the day off to be with me and I had a ride all set up so that was very inconvenient for my part so they did do a consultation which I should have had prior to the appointment that I was supposed to have a supposed to getting all my teeth pulled and have Dentures put in but I changed my mind and I called earlier that week to discuss that but you know what I did it could have called back so I just decided just to go in and keep my appointment Sonia says say the staff yes they might be very friendly but I don't think they know what they're doing instead of getting all my teeth pulled I decided to keep the good teeth that I have an extractor ones to get out for me to have a partial now I know the looking over my treatment plan when I got home I have discovered they pulled out the wrong tooth and they didn't send me home with any antibiotics which I know as a previous Dental patient anytime you get extraction they always send you home with antibiotics cuz you don't want to get infection you have holes in your mouth and now I have to wait till Monday because there is no emergency contact number to call a dentist on call or to have any questions regarding your mouth friendly staff yes of course kissing your ass because they know that they messed up is probably one of the reasons why they were so friendly but I think more unlikely through pretty much people that are still in training or need more training to have a successful business they might be successful but they're only successful because half of the state is on Medicaid and that's what the only Medicaid Office in Hot Springs Arkansas so make sure you do some research and follow up if you have an appointment and make sure that they're doing the right teeth before you even enter those doors read more

The worst experience of my life! Got a tooth pulled while it was still abscess. Horrible pain, came back in 4 days with a dry socket and more abscess. The worst part is how rude the dentist Dr.Eddy was, he "told me" I was pregnant 3 times. I said no, not pregnant. "Are you sure? I could have sworn you were with child!"
