I'm not expert in this field and I don't have any other experiences to compare it to so don't take what I say as the ultimate review. What I can say is I am put at ease with their service. Actually it was so easy I keep second guessing myself if I did something wrong or left something out. Consultation, well the pre-consultation questionnaire really gave you time to get things in order and made the whole ordeal very easy. Albert was great easy to communicate with. He guided me in is needed. I'm so sorry to the team in Palo Alto, I forgot your name. But this is where customer service shined so bright. First my gripe, dang it so far to drive but I got this done and out of the way so it was my choice. But the folks in this office super awesome. the patience and how you will not full rushed out of there. she even took a lot of time to explain things to me and I get the feeling if I ever need them they're there for me. Are they the best? I don't know, how many estate attorneys do I need to use? But they seem to take the time needed for you and I would give them a try if you're looking to set your affairs in order. read more

I already have a trust but the attorney who prepared it was no longer available. So I did some research and interviewed several attorneys to explain my somewhat complicated family situation. I appreciated that it didn't take too long to book an informal interview to get acquainted with Kelly (complimentary). I like that he only deals with estates and trusts. I appreciated the time he took to answer my questions. The trust took just a week or so to prepare. The process of reviewing my questions and signing off was very easy. The price is affordable. Planning around one's demise is no picnic: it's easy to procrastinate. This firm makes it easy to get it done and behind you. read more

When my son was born, I realized I needed to get an estate plan together to make sure he and his mom would be taken care of promptly and effectively. Summerall Law helped me not just get a will in place but a living trust as well. Their offices on Union St are right by where we live, so it was very convenient to come into the office for the final signing. But most of it got handled online which was great. Painless and thorough! If you make it into the office, definitely say hi to Cappy the little dog mascot. read more

I reached out to several firms to help me with my estate planning and when i finally connected with Summerall, I knew I had chosen the right one. She was thorough in walking through all the details, and available to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this firm and Amina without any reservations. read more

Making an estate plan has been on my to-do list for awhile, and when my employer offered legal insurance as a benefit, I didn't really have an excuse to drag my feet any longer. I looked over the ARAG website to find a lawyer and I was drawn to Summerall since they exclusively do estate planning. Their website was also very friendly and prices were very transparent. My legal benefit provided full coverage and I only paid for deed transfers and notary ($350). We worked with Albert and he was professional and responsive during the entire process. I think it helps if you already have a sense of some of the logistics going into the meeting and their intake form does help with the planning. All the meetings took about an hour and then all our wills, POA , AHCD and trusts were set up. The main to-do afterwards is to adjust all your beneficiary settings in your accounts, but they have a nice checklist that makes the process less cumbersome. Overall, highly recommend them if you are looking for a very streamlined well oiled machine to get your estate plan done. read more

I found Summerall through my legal benefit network and highly recommend this firm. I've been putting off establishing a living trust for years, and now knowing how easy the process is (at least with Summerall!), I really should have done it sooner! It's one of those things where you spend a lot more time making excuses for why you haven't done it than the time it takes to actually do it -- so DO IT! I worked with Mike McCoy (all remotely) and Che for the notarizing (via the comforts of my car in their parking lot ). They really did make it very painless and easy to understand, now I'm done! Yay thank you team! read more

I went to Summerall to update my family trust. It was efficient and painless. They really know their business and I would use them again.

I used Summerall Law through my ARAG insurance provided by my employer. My husband and I found it very easy to set up our Trust through them. Our assigned lawyer, Adina, was thorough in her responses to our questions, even weird ones about what to do with our embryo's and other inquiries she hadn't dealt with before. Follow up was always prompt and they were flexible when we needed to reschedule. Pricing was transparent and reasonable. We'd recommend working with Summerall. read more

We needed to set up a will and living trust and found Summerall Law through our legal insurance. I can't recommend them enough! Julia Richter was our attorney and she was great. We had two meetings to got though and set everything up. She made it very easy and straight forward down to the drive through notary to finalize documents. She was also very responsive to any questions we had and accommodating to our schedules. We did have MetLife legal insurance and so the cost was significantly cheaper than going out of pocket to a lawyer, as in $100s of dollars instead of $1000s. read more

My experience with Summerall Law was perfect for estate planning. It was incredibly efficient, helpful, easy, affordable, courteous, and friendly. I had legal insurance via my employer, which covered nearly everything. But even if I hadn't, it would have been way more affordable than other options I've looked into. The process was honed so smoothly that I barely had to look up anything. There was no unnecessary work. Last time I attempted this, it became so tedious I didn't finish, which is very unlike me. I recommend them without reservation. And they are even helpful after you complete everything! read more

We worked with Jihyun to set up a trust and will. We were very impressed with the promptness of response, and how quickly we were able to get meetings onto the calendar (we had started engaging in November and wrapped up by December). Quick & professional. They sent reminders and all documents very timely, we will definetly be using them again.

I already had a trust, but it had been amended, so I decided to start over and rewrite it. I shopped around and found the best price for the most comprehensive product. Most of a trust is boilerplate language so I refused to pay $5,000 or more. On the other hand, I didn't want a fly-by-night or inexperienced operation. Summerall Law was neither: an experienced lawyer and team (with excellent reviews of their work) and a reasonable price. On top of that, I had a time deadline as I was leaving the country in a few weeks and wanted this finished before I left. They met my deadline and all of my expectations. Thanks you, team! read more
