My brother lived here many years ago and I have several friends that have lived here. However, I've never been interested in living here because I always thought the apartments were ugly. On my brother's suggestion, I checked them out anyway. I was pleasantly surprised! They've remodeled most of the units and they're absolutely adorable! Some units (only downstairs) have all wood flooring. Some have granite countertops and cherry cabinetry. I'm very impressed with how quiet the community is. I haven't lived in an apartment in over 10 years and I've never lived downstairs so I wasn't sure what to expect when I was given a downstairs unit. I can hear creaking in the floor upstairs. The neighbor directly above me moved, I believe but I do hear the tenant in the unit next to that one. I even heard her vacuuming yesterday! I didn't know what the noise was at first until I realized it was a vacuum cleaner!! As for my direct next door neighbors, they're amazing. I've met a few and they're so kind. I never hear them. I'm very happy with Cherie and Debbie, in the office. Maintenance has been very prompt and kind, as well. I've only been here a few weeks, but so far, I'm very happy. I miss my house in Arizona but living here has been a pleasant experience for apartment living. They do not offer amenities like many apartment communities offer. There is no gym, no WiFi in the community space in the office, no trash pick up, no covered parking, no dog park, no ceiling fans in the bedrooms or living rooms, no overhead lighting in those areas and no built in microwave. The grounds are nicely maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment community.

I had to fix stopped up drains, front door not closing correctly and cleaned up the dumpster area ALL the time. The grounds are dirty, the pool was NEVER open and always green, mailbox had no keys nor locked for months until I contacted the Post office myself and they told me it was the apartments job to give keys and change locks; however, they did get me a lock and key. They gate barely ever worked and had to be manually opened many times. You get charged fees for grounds and trash, but it's never taken care of. I put in my notice to leave at the end of my lease; I ended up not needing to leave and the Manager Lakisha at the time told me I couldn't stay because she had already rented out my apartment. Yet when I moved out and cleaned the apartment I got calls from her; first call a month later asking where I had left the keys, second call two months later asking where I had left the keys, third call 3 months later asking why I left the washer and dryer. The washer and dryer were included in my lease, yet she had no idea. Then I get a letter from an attorney's office stating I owed them money. I called and called and found a new Management company had taken over, called them and they couldn't help me with the bill because they had just taken over Jan 26. Tracked down a different management company and was able to leave a message with the accounting department with no response back. Now I have this on my credit report and still nobody has contacted me back from the apartment complex. I never got any bill or any correspondence from the Woods as to what this so called "money due" was for and the Attorney says they don't have to provide a bill. I'd stay far away from this place.

We have a really nice gym, they host events in the office for holidays and special occasions. Most everyone ever met on property have been friendly. We watch out for each other. Important to keep your dogs on a leash and clean up after them, otherwise they'll fine you. As they should, that's just gross to not pick up after your pet.

The staff, management and maintenance, are professional, courteous, readily available and very thorough. The few maintenance issues I had were quickly addressed. The amenities: pool, gym and cub house are always clean and tidy, Did I mention they have 2 tanning booths? 1 stand up and 1 lay down. $10/month a fantastic deal you just can't beat! Each apt has amazing views, balconies or porches and oh so much room. I had the 2/2/2 and it was bigger than my first house! You cannot go wrong by moving to and living here. My only regret is that I only stayed 1 year due to job change but if that had not happened I would reside there for many years.

Worst living experience of my life!!!!…read more Lived here one and a half years and had nothing but problems through the duration of my stay. Office staff is HORRIBLE. They fake nice until you need help or need to complain and then they're no help whatsoever. There are only two of them and they're clearly in cahoots with each other; they don't answer to anyone but themselves!!! I backed up to the running trails, just FEET from the woods and complained about BOTH lights being out in my stairwell for a month causing it to be PITCH dark in my area. So dark in fact that if someone were to be hiding in the woods, I literally wouldn't have seen them coming! They claimed to be "waiting on a distributor" FOR A LIGHTBULB!! After 6 weeks of complaints by me AND my neighbors, I fell, injuring myself and threatened a lawsuit (I'm not lawsuit happy, but this situation was dangerous on so many levels) and suddenly the next day it's fixed. They came into my apartment MULTIPLE times unannounced for reasons that were never explained. TWICE gave no warning of a "flea spray" until the day of and then threatened my neighbors and I for the fees to have Terminex return because we didn't have our pets out of the apartment (because none of us knew they were coming). We literally all came home to notes on our doors about a flea spray that would KILL, yes, KILL our pets if they stayed. And the flea sprays had occurred earlier THAT DAY. ((notices should have been put out days prior)) When I called the office and told them the noticed was placed after I'd left for work for the day, I was told to prove it! Pipes in my floor leaked into my downstairs neighbors apartments THREE times and they blamed the leak on ME, TO MY NEIGHBORS! They literally told my neighbors I was flooding my bathtub.. I'm almost 30, I know how to use a bathtub! After being robbed one evening of my car, purse and keys to my home, they charged me to have my locks changed and to have the maintenance man come let me in my home! It's not an AMENITY if you've got to pay for it, is it?! The place was infested with bugs my entire stay, the carpet was disgusting, the peeling wallpaper was painted over, my light fixture In the kitchen was taped up upon my move in and finally broke loose and smashed me in the head! The appliances were Ancient!!! At one point I came home and noticed a wood piece extending from the vacant balcony below me up to the underside of mine. Upon inspection, it was HOLDING MY BALCONY UP!!!!!! Zero notice, email, text or call to let me know to avoid my balcony. I could go on and on and I have photos of all of this as proof!! Avoid this place at all costs unless your only option is to be homeless.

Late fees that shouldn't be there, bills of utilities for months that haven't even happened yet/ after you have moved out, cleaning fee for things that you cleaned and have proof. They are looking to rob you and you will have a terrible living experience there.

The person I visited isn't happy with the apartments, and is looking forward to moving. Complaints include the following 1) rent going up 2) roaches 3) leaky ceilings 4) smells from other apartments coming through the vents- very strong 5) packages being "forgotten" in the office. They're supposed to alert you. 6) no main room lights ! (Purchase a looooot of lamps). There are no overhead lights in the living room nor bedroom. One in the small kitchen, one in the dining room area, one in the bathroom and one in the laundry room area that's right beside the bathroom. I'm glad I didn't choose this apartment complex.
