Good local supply of Asian food although prices area little to high (but then I can't keep on comparing to China town in London!) So have to make do. Though don't have clear white rice wine available at all. Would have given it a far better star rating if it weren't for the extremely grumpy, rude owner! I met her colleague (an Asian lady) who was extremely pleasant and helpful but her boss & owner of the shop (the Eigentuemer) is a complete turn off. Neither a smile nor a friendly gesture are a part of her vocabulary so I really don't like going there just because of her. Recently I ordered a box of ginger beer and she denied it was even ordered luckily my partner (being a German and therefore more adept at these situatons!) sorted her out, verbally of course! There's a better Asian shop in the city centre, with fast friendlier and more helpful staff than here. read more

Wir spezialisieren uns auf asiatische Lebensmittel jeder Art. Sie können Nudeln, Reis, Kokosmilch und frisches Gemüse bei uns finden. Aber auch exotischere Spezialitäten wie Hühnerfüße, Tintenfisch, Kokosnussöl usw. Frisches Gemüse kommt 2x pro Woche u.a. per Flugzeug aus Thailand und anderen Regionen.

Zum 1. Januar 2017 entschieden wir uns den Punjoi Asia Markt zu übernehmen und daraus den Sukhothai Asia Markt zu machen. Durch den Besitzerwechsel wurde wieder neues Leben in den fast 25 Jahre alten Asia Shop gehaucht.
