I was charged 4 hours labor for cleaning the carburetor - no parts. I had it disassembled and reassembled myself and maybe not as thoroughly clean, but in way less time. I had asked them to take a look at several things, which they did, but did not fix them either; they just pointed them out to me. Things I already knew. Moreover, when I rode it last the electric start worked fine and it was returned to me in non-working order. I was also surprised to learn that they did not know where the rubber cover over the carb went. I put it on myself in 5 minutes. I believe that in the time the carburetor was soaking and the battery was charging, they could have at least adjusted the brake cables and trouble shot the starter, as well as other routine maintenance. I have seen this before where a "wordy" business man comes up with "talk" and justifies bills with words rather than action. And the horror story with Big Open Road continues. After riding my allegedly repaired ATV only twice, the carburetor failed exactly as before. I called Owen about it only to be told that "he does not guaranty his work" and that I was out of luck. Finally, he told me to "stay off his property". This coming from a business man that claims to conduct his business according to Christian principles on the website. I posted my terrible experience with this business on my Facebook page and ATV rider group and watched my inbox fill will similar stories of being ripped off and treated rudely by business owner Owen Lehman.

The store is a gorgeous homage to the artisan days where you can see endless high-quality, hand-crafted leather goods. It's truly a pleasure to see the work from a store like this! This year I was looking for a new belt to surprise my partner for his birthday. He stated that he wanted a full-grain leather belt, but I was unsure what that meant. Remembering the few times I visited this store, I called Dennis and he was happy to patiently walk through all of my questions on leather types, sizing, and engravement. I was also concerned that the order would not arrive on time as I was leaving the state soon and he made sure to get my order finished and sent within a day. Lastly, I cannot overstate how much my partner loved the belt, the quality, sizing, width, and finish were all extremely high quality and the price was so much more affordable than all those mass-produced leather goods sold by large fashion corporations (most of which are not quality leather). Having previously visited one of their competitor's leather stores in Massachusetts, the Weaver store was a better experience in every way. It had the rich aroma of fine leather, well-organized, wide arrays of leather types, cuts, tools, sample projects, hardware, leather sewing machines and more. I received a great deal of patience and help from a young woman named Elle who answered my many questions with both knowledge and good cheer.
