Hampton Inn Meadville - Guest room

Hampton Inn Meadville

Had a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Hampton Inn Meadville. Front desk staff were very friendly…read moreand welcoming and they had a plate of free cookies for guests to indulge in! Hotel was clean and well kept. Water pressure in the shower was strong and hot water available within seconds. Amenities included an above average fitness center with dumbbells up to 50 lbs, multiple treadmills, two elliptical machines, a peloton bike, and a cable pulley tower. There was also an indoor pool and a complimentary breakfast buffet with hot and cold food options, plus light roast and dark roast coffee. If you're in a rush the staff made to-go bags for any guests to take that included a bagel with jam and peanut butter, apple, and bottled water. To my pleasant surprise they also had a nightly social 6-8 pm in the lobby with complimentary adult beverages on ice. The selection was Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Yuengling, and multiple flavors of seltzers. I've seen this done at other higher end Hilton properties like Embassy Suites but first time seeing it at a Hampton Inn! Would definitely stay here again!

The staff is friendly. The rooms are quiet- I couldn't hear anyone in the hallways or in anther room. It has a great breakfast and grab and go bags for those that didn't have time to sit and eat. Baked cookies at check in. The pool area and fitness room were also very clean. The hot tub was hot- not lukewarm. Ample parking. I enjoyed staying here.

I can't believe I'm leaving a 5 star review for a hotel lol…read more Close to highways and restaurants and Walmart for things you've forgotten, and very close to PSP NW training center for those here for work. Popcorn after 3pm, cookie and iced cream at 7pm, all day coffee, a surprisingly really decent breakfast (hot and cold), a large and clean pool and jacuzzi area and a normal sized hotel gym that's clean. Some work being done currently (room and decor updates) but it's still quiet and all of the rooms seem newly updated and very clean, new, the beds and pillows are great, tons of cleaning staff employed here, honestly this hotel sets the bar high and I am thoroughly glad I stayed here

As I previously noted, there's a popcorn machine, warm cookies, free bottled water, fruit, coffee and tea, and candies in the lobby. Every evening from 5-6pm there's a happy hour with beer/wine/liquor as well as a free hot meal item; last night when I was there it was chicken noodle soup and cheese w/ crackers, wonderful for a cold night! Every night at 9pm there's a free ice cream social in the breakfast area. The room was spotless and I love the bath and body works shower toiletries. The TV is a flat screen and it's a nice size. The front desk and the housekeeping staff are very friendly and will always smile and say hello or have a nice day as you pass by, a nice touch. The bed is just as comfortable as I remember and I found myself checking the tags on the bedding and pillows so I can buy them- they are very soft and cozy. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are in the area, and it is not too far from Conneaut lake area if that's your thing too. There's a decent selection of chain restaurants a few stores/shops to browse.

Amazing wood framing and floors, private guest rooms (two share a large patio off the front of the house), two kitchens and so much more! The owners are the sweetest! They are more than helpful, accomodating, knowledgeable about the area (history and local events). Plus, they make a killer breakfast! As a "green girl" I sincerely appreciate the heath and sustainability of the couple and the property. Your eggs can be fried with coconut oil and paired with fresh vegetables from their garden. They compost and only clean with sustainable products. Also earth concious, they have solar panels and water efficient toilets. The rooms are cozy and the beds comfortable as can be. Even the pillows were great - I know because I usually have to travel with my own due to my TMJ. The master suite has a phenomenal hot tub (see pics) which is well worth the stay right there! Better than any of the finest hotel tubs in Vegas, which I know first hand. Note, it's right off a semi-busy street in town and you can sometimes hear the traffic, but when the windows and doors are closed you barely hear a thing. I highly recommend and can't wait for the opportunity to go back!

The building was a structurally sound gracious old home, yet the amenities were as modern and accommodating as one might find in a modern hotel. As I looked around in every room, on every wall, on every table and in every nook there was a well decorated elegance and charm - books, throws, photos, art and even grand pianos (2). More importantly Marty and Ann are the quintessential hosts. The perfect balance of charming and engaging without hovering around. Their breakfasts are delicious and Marty's coffee (New Orleans style) is the best. Don't miss breakfast! I cannot recommend their fine house and their warm company strongly enough. Tom and Allison

It's a very sweet Mom and Pop establishment with the owner's cell phone numbers posted outside the office if you should need anything. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, even though it was during their posted check-in hours and I had to wait 20 minutes before someone finally showed up. Then I was told they had no rooms available for me. They were able to pull up the confirmation email they had sent me, yet still insisted they had no room to honor the reservation. I was shocked and frustrated, especially since this was a major family event. To make things worse, the staff was completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Instead of trying to fix the situation, they told me to "find somewhere else to go or someone I could stay with." Because of this mess, I missed my brother's wedding rehearsal trying to find alternative accommodations. They failed to deliver on a confirmed booking and showed zero accountability. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone--especially if you're planning something important. They clearly don't care about their guests or honoring confirmed bookings.
