I go to a LOT of casinos and this wins the prize for the worst one I've ever seen. Approximately half of the machines had sheets of paper taped to them stating they were out of commission or not working. I played other machines and two of them in the span of 15 minutes jammed and ate my cash out ticket. I can attest to the lack of enthusiasm at the cashier window as another reviewer commented on. Crystal Bowers is the shining star here. It's been about a year since I came back. There were some quite large and frankly lazy staff members that kept people away. Crystal was on the ball with both personality and promptness. The only miss was that the salad bar was running short, but I did come in at 3 pm. The salad was good. And it did seem as if everyone was getting served promptly. I would also like to thank the manager. He acted as a real team player, helping food get on the table. read more

Generally, I am one to say nothing if I'm not impressed but I feel like this needs saying. Worst treatment ever received at a casino! When I went up to cash out after playing they treated me like I was a criminal for winning a decent amount. Then when I won a jackpot later they again acted like we stole the money. Whispering and side glances the whole time they were paying out. We won a little but it's not enough to ever return for more rude treatment. I'm not a criminal but man they sure made me feel like I was doing something wrong! The two stars are only because it was a nice layout with lots of machines and was clean. We enjoy going to Sugar Creek. The staff alone makes this our favorite place. Every employee is so very helpful and willing to go above to make your experience positive. We come here for dinner at times. Their Indian tacos are so good. Another favorite is the grilled chicken dinner. You get 2 chicken breast (grilled) with 2 sides. So good. First we went to go get breakfast and the person working was no where to be found. So we left, went into town and ate then checked into motel which was great. We tried several times to get a drink from bar but no one working there either. Finally some one there and got drinks and left my card to leave tab open. My husband went to ATM and was not given any cash. Was told they didn't accept his card , but 200 dollars was taken out of account. He was told basically he was screwed and that the ATM did not belong to the Casino. He called the ATM and was told it would take 45 days to return his money. Unbelievable. Security took my water bottle and I had to go retrieve when I was leaving. Went to bar to close my account and again no one there to give me back my card. Had to have Security page them. The sign on the highway mentioned a smoke shop, my driver figured they would have some decent cigars, so we pit stopped. Crazy looking building in the middle of an industrial park of buildings. Outside the look is bleak and you have to wonder why people would go out of their way to gamble? Inside the machines are whirring, lights flashing and sounds calling to you for a spin. In the center sits a state of the art blackjack machine with a virtual private dealer that can accommodate 3-5 per side. The machine is huge with 4 sides and on each is a flat screen plasma about 60" in dimension. I don't gamble and that machine made me curious to try. Weekday afternoon and it's got what looks like seasoned regulars playing a few games before work. Unlike other casinos with freebies on soda or snacks, here you have to pay. The smoke shop was lame and kept in the same area as the snack shop. Wouldn't that be some kind of health code violation ??!? They sell food out of this area as well. Really small! Lots of weirdos walking around asking for money or trying to sell you something. The website shows like 4 restaurants, only 1 was open and after sitting at the bar at canyon sports grill for 15 minutes the lady walked by us not even acknowledge us. Also called the phone to get their attention which did not work. The only redeeming part of this place was the guy bartending In the front. Also do not go into the event center area, they have a couch and security office but the floor is covered with roaches dead and alive. f you are thinking about stopping here you might as well go across the street to Casino Oklahoma, much nicer atmosphere and music there. read more

BEWARE! Was at Casino OK across street and visited here. I signed up for player card and had to sign a card that pretty much said I give up my rights which should of been my tip of trouble ahead. One employee told me one thing then later an incredibly rude short grey haired woman told me another. She basically told me I had only spent $24 so I didn't matter. When I asked for a supervisor she actually told him that very thing as he approached. Terrible customer service, tons of non-operable machines, dark and dingy. The staff members behind the counters and on the floor are phenomenal! The employees' are very assertive and educated on their environment and beyond. I was at a machine this afternoon and witnessed a new hire learning about how to deal with a situation where the machine malfunctions internally. The trainer was thorough and had him retaining information quickly as he solved the issue. Depending on your luck you could win BIG or not so big. If you move around the casino and try new machines, you are almost guaranteed to hit a jackpot of some sort! By far all the casinos I have been in, this is one of my favorite places to come! If you have a Class A license you get $10 free play everyday and $2 off any meal over $7.59 with voucher you can obtain from the players club after swiping player card or showing license for proof. A friend and I went to the concert Chicks with Hits. We were extremely excited. The concert was great but we paid an extra $100 for the vip meet and greet. We couldn't touch the singers which we had no problem with but we didnt get to meet and greet them either. Meet and greet is where you get to talk to the singers for a few minutes and take pictures with. NO! INSTEAD WE WERE PUSHED THROUGH LIKE CATTLE! I was extremely disappointed and waisted the extra $100 for pretty much just a photo with them. There was no talking for just a few minutes and there was only 20 of us! I was so disappointed and frankly pissed off! I had waited my whole life to meet Terry Clark and to talk to her. Instead I got a photo. The casino itself was clean and easy to navigate. The diner was hurting. They were out of several of their main entrees (including the steak that was advertised on a poster in several locations.). Went to this casino last night and it smelled so bad I couldn't stay more than 5 minutes! The stench of smoke and whatever they use to try and cover it up had me dry heaving immediately. My BF checked out the video poker and the machines are 6/5 JoB which is as bad as playing penny slots. They have a diner but I'm not sure how anyone eats in this disgusting place. Attended a concert here tonight. We arrived early to eat in the diner and after standing in line for 10 minutes while staff talked to each other and basically looked lost, we heard other customers stating they had been waiting over an hour for their food. We decided to grab something to eat after the concert. Well, same situation, we were told they were running 45 minutes behind on food orders and they closed at 11. Went to the restless heart/ diamond rio show tonight. The chairs are horrible. The guy doing announcements wasn't really necessary and the lighting for diamond rio was so bad that I couldn't even watch the band and a woman a few row down held her purse in front of her face the entire time. We went to see Restless Heart and Diamond Rio. The bands were great, but beware of getting in with a printed online ticket. We waited our turn in line and the first words out of the ticket taker were "Don't raise your voice at me and don't be snippy with me!" All I did was hand her our online ticket paper. Then she continued raising her voice stating that I should have known to go to the players club to have the paper converted into real tickets. This was our first and last time there! I tried to explain this to her and that we were just there for the concert and not to gamble so it never occurred to us that we needed to go to the players club for concert tickets. I wouldn't recommend putting yourself through the humiliation when there are so many other nice casinos in the vicinity. And to think she's in the 'hospitality' industry! Arrg! read more
