They looked so darn good! As they made our coffee order, a latte and a breve (basically a latte with half n' half), we putts around the store. They had a collection of cute and cool things: candles, cards, mugs, soaps and so much more. We were in a bit of a haste with being hungry roadtrip travelers so we couldn't look for long but it'd be fun to go back when we had more time. While we headed out, I asked if there was a place they'd recommend for breakfast - an easy stop and pick up spot. They couldn't be happier to recommend another local business as the must-go place. My husband, who grew up in a similar small Texas town, really found this to be a cool moment and I'd agree. So after leaving their shop with one of THE BEST breves, we followed their driving instructions which led us to one of the THE BEST breakfasts! I went in after them and asked the lady at the counter what happened. They wanted coffee and she didn't make any because she said she had only had one customer. No point in making a full pot. Donuts, kolache (only one kind a giant pig in a blanket), and croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and options for meat - as long as it's in the case. Not a flaky croissant because it's in plastic wrap. Good thing is that she heated up the sandwich and kolache. Not sure this place will be around long so if you like donuts it might be a good option for you. Not sure about the coffee. You take your chance on that.
