It is a members club and is run by a few paid staff and a lot of volunteering members. It has a wide variety of activities, Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing. The skiing timetable includes Junior club on saturday morning, ladies club on a tuesday evening, mens club on wednesday evenings and various other sessions for beginers to experts. The snowboard timetable is on a monday and thursday with a freestyle session running on the thursday when skiers are more than welcome to come along too. Tubing takes place at various times throughout the week and weekend and is ideal for birthday parties or corporate events. There is a very good value bar whith tables overlooking the slopes. At weekends you can buy yourself a large variety of fantastic food, all cooked in house by a great team of caterers. Overall a fantastic club for all the family even if you don't ski!!

Oddly enough, there is always that one or two things that didn't survive the last trip. I needed to get some additional gear for my trip and randomly came across Finches in Forest Hill. Tucked right across from the Forest Hill station, this is a really big shop that specialises in all things ski and snowboard related. The staff are really friendly, but nowhere near as friendly as the shop dogs, especially their golden lab! All the staff were really helpful, pointed me in the right direction, happy to talk 'shop', gave some good advise on a couple places at the new resort I was heading to and their prices were quite good. Overall, I was really happy with the experience and will definitely be going back their for all of my snowboarding needs!
