If you are looking for an amazing realtor -- stop and look no further. Finding a good realtor is like finding the perfect house-- it's just really, really difficult. Fortunately, Sue can help you to find your perfect house. While a typical realtor will show you tons of houses, hoping that sooner or later you'll give in, Sue really tries to understand what you are looking for, so that she can optimize for your taste. She isn't happy if you are not happy. Sue was very patient working with us as we were first time home buyers. She made us much more confident during home hunting with her professional knowledge - she can always point out the pros and cons of a home based on our perspective and preferences. When we decided on homes we wanted to bid on, Sue helped guide us to what she felt would be the best first bid for the home. She got us all the disclosures and documents we needed so we could read them, sign them, and have them packaged within a few hours. After hearing from friends who had put in offers with other realtors on 10-20 homes before finally winning, we were shocked that we won the third house that we offered on! We attribute it to Sue's guidance through the buying process. Countless issues arise during real estate transactions, but with Sue as our realtor we never had to worry. Even after closing the transaction, Sue helped us stay on top of things, recommending things that needed to be fixed and recommending contractors. Her recommended contractors did quality work and on schedule. When you hire Sue as your realtor -- she will look out for you. This is because she believes in the long term relationship and making you really love the house you are buying! read more

Sue was the most amazing realtor anyone could have represented here in the Bay Area! She is very professional, courteous and determined to deliver quality service. She was extremely informative about the local market conditions and what was needed in order to meet our buying goals.  She brought us only the best listings suited to our taste as we were looking into investment properties and was always going above and beyond to make herself  available to go for viewings.  We also communicated frequently regarding the house we were purchasing and every detail we needed to look into, such as getting our offer accepted in a multiple offer situation. She is very well versed with current market trends and also has an MBA which helped navigate the 1031 exchange we needed to pull off in a timely manner.  Overall,  she is a top-notch realtor, and we highly recommend her! Thank you, Sue for being such a wonderful realtor we can count on! read more

Sue Bose - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Saratoga, California

Sue helped me buy my condo in San Jose. I never through I'd be able to afford a place in the Bay Area, let alone in a prime location. She has a method to this madness, from giving me an accurate mortgage amount to expect and how I can afford to own a home even before starting to look, to closing the deal, I could trust her with every aspect of the deal. It's easy to trust her and she does act in your best interest. I don't know if there was any aspect of the deal in which she didn't excel, but can you imagine standing in your dream home with a bunch of bidders ready to pay the entire amount in cash, and still winning it with just 10% down payment in your hand? My first of many times this woman has given me tears of happiness. I can't thank her enough. She's now a friend, and has showed me compassion and love that only family does. read more

Writing this review took longer than it took Sue to find us a house! What an amazing experience we have had. Sue was super understanding, super energized and extremely easy to talk to. We connected right away. We told her a couple of things that were a must have and she was bang on in showing us related listings. She opened up areas for us that were in the range of our budget, had bigger/better houses with better neighborhood schools. Never once did we feel that she was pushing us on a house or on a price. She was extremely careful about not pushing us in a financially uncomfortable space but would definitely give the right advice when asked for. She was available for questions and any concerns even after the sale was done and deal was closed, let alone during the whole process. It was super easy to get information from her and understand what is happening and how long each step would take. This is our 2nd home so trust me, this isn't how all realtors treat each sale, most of them want to be done and work on the next sale. But we didn't feel that with Sue at all. She continued to help us with movers, termite treatment, gardner, you name it. Basically she will follow up with you till you feel at home in your house. This is an extremely rare quality. But not to take away from how smart and well understood the market of real estate is to her. read more

If you are looking for a super patient, good communicator, negotiator, and a very knowledgeable realtor then there is no better person than Sue. We were looking for a house in Santa Clara County and it seemed impossible to buy a single-family house within our budget. Sue helped us develop our financial credibility and gave us the proper market value of property in the bay area. Her advice and support helped us buy a beautiful house within our financial budget at the time of the seller's market. During the house-hunting process, Sue was very helpful and gave us great advice using her professional judgment. She was very patient with us as we were looking for various attributes and kept changing our minds, but she always listened and tried to understand our concerns and needs. Sue not only helped us to bid but also advised us which house to bid for. She helped guide us to what she felt would be the best bid for the home. She got us all the disclosures and documents we needed so we could read them, sign them, and have them packaged within a few hours. Even after the deal was closed, she helped us fix things around the house. She is practically a full-service provider. She went way out of her way to help us with many other things in the process of buying a house for the first time. Prasun Banerjee read more

Last year Sue helped me sell my old house and buy the new house. She is a great realtor and has become a personal friend of mine too. She was very patient working with me as I was stressed with my job situations at the time and was always out of town. She took care of everything for me and was prompt to respond whenever I called her. I feel that from the first time I met her, she had my best interest in mind, as opposed to trying to convince me to get into the market right away so that she can earn some commission. I asked for her advice about whether I should sell my townhouse at the time and she advised that I keep it for long term investment or maybe even keep it for family to use in the future. I took her advice and she didn't hear from me for a while. When I was finally ready to move on to a new house, I called her up and we officially started working together. What I am most impressed about Sue, is that she got into the real estate business because she truly enjoys helping people find their dream homes. You can tell that she wants to help those who can barely afford to buy a house as her clientele ranges from lower end of the market all the way to the higher end clientele. I know some realtors are only interested in higher end homes, or only limited to certain areas. Sue will go to Fresno to sell your house if it needs be....She did not hesitate to list my old townhouse after I decided to sell it. It was not in a high priced area so the commission was not that high. With the amount of time and efforts she put in to sell my house there has got to be something other than just the commission that inspires her to do this for a living. During the selling process there was some issue with the home owners' association. She worked diligently with various parties involved and helped the deal go through smoothly. I am thankful that she never gave up on my property. During the house hunting process Sue was also very helpful and gave me great advice to steer me away from questionable areas/houses using her professional judgement. She was very patient with me as I kept changing my mind but she always listened and tried to understand my concerns and needs. You can tell she really cares as she remembered everything you told her (even about trivial little things that I forgot I had told her about), and would follow up with you on various issues. With Sue's help I was able to find the new house and had a very smooth closing process. She even provided free advice and set up open house for me when I was trying to rent out the new house temporarily. Even after the deal was closed, she still called me often when I needed help finding contractors/repairmen to fix things up around the house. She is practically a full service provider . Sometimes I felt like I was her only client by the way she responded to my calls, but I knew she has other clients and she always makes them feel important. Sue also has a great website that not only shows her current listings for both homes for sale and rentals, but also provides useful resources for new homeowners such as contact info for utilities services, etc. You can also sign up and set up your own home search criteria and then you will receive automatic notifications on properties based on your search. One thing I also noticed, was Sue utilizes the latest and greatest technology/ways to make the house buying/selling process easier. For example she uses the "e-sign" software so that you can sign documents on line anywhere you are in the world. That definitely made it a lot easier for me as I was always out of town on the road during the house selling and buying process. Also her mortgage broker was very flexible and arranged for a mobile notary to meet me in downtown San Diego when I was there on a client assignment. So I actually sat down at "Extraordinary Desserts" http://www.yelp.com/biz/extraordinary-desserts-san-diego-2#query:extraordinary%20deserts signing my new house closing documents, while sipping my morning cup of coffee and chowing down on a delicious strawberry scone. That made for a memorable moment for my new house for sure... Sue is also very active in the realtors' professional association. She volunteered to serve on the board. She also does other volunteer work for the city, etc. When I am ready to buy/sell the next property I know I will definitely call Sue again. read more

Sue had been wonderful through out my house buying journey. She is very knowledgeable with all the streets in and out in the entire South Bay. She had been very patient and gave me tours to all the kinds of houses I wanted to see and carefully listened to what I was looking for and answered hundreds of my questions. She is also a great communicator and a strong negotiator and I had full confidence I got the right agent right off the bat. Over all I am very happy with the outcome. To top it all off, she went way out of her way to help me with many other things in the process of buying a house for the first time. Thank you for all that, Sue! Happy New Year! read more

This is a long overdue review. My wife and I were interested in purchasing a new home in Fall of 2009. I was referred to Sue through my Uncle who had recently enlisted her help in finding a new home for his family. As a first time homebuyer, the task is certainly a daunting one. I also am quite inquisitive by nature, and needed an agent who answer the seemingly endless stream of questions I knew I would be soon asking. Sue surpassed every expectation I could possibly have in a real estate agent. Our first consultation with her involved answering a series of questions to help her get better acquainted with what we were looking for. We talked about prices, areas, and expectations for our new place. Sue has a giant map of the South Bay in the conference room we met in, and was great in breaking down the various areas which would meet our needs and our budget. We also talked about the benefits and drawbacks of various property types (Condos/Townhomes/Single Family/etc.) The following month or so was filled with constant interaction with Sue as we scoured the area for properties. We probably met with her about 4-5 times per week for multiple hours per meeting. Sue drove us all around the South Bay, and every time we met, she had a fresh set of properties that met our criteria perfectly. Though we turned down countless units that she showed us, Sue was amazingly patient through the process. We never felt pressured to settle at all, and she didn't seem like she would be satisfied until she found us something perfect. Eventually, she found us a property within our budget in an area that we thought may be out of price range. My wife and I fell in love with it, and we've now been living there since December. Even after we'd selected the home, Sue stayed involved in the process. Every time I had a question about the mortgages, or the purchase process, Sue made herself available, providing invaluable advice at a time when we really needed it. After having seen some bad experiences my parents had with Realtors growing up, I'd always been wary of getting a Realtor who was more concerned with a quick commission than a satisfied client. After our experiences with Sue, I can confidently say that she has changed my opinion of the industry. To this day, we are grateful for the help she provided. Often, as I step into our home, I wonder if it would have been possible without her help. :) read more

We have been in the Bay Area for 14 years, and never thought we'd be able to buy a home. We just kept moving from rental to rental until the rents became unaffordable. When we started our search to explore home-buying, we were dismayed by the reactions we were getting from bankers. Our credit score was pretty high, and monthly payments would not be a problem. Our weak area was downpayment. It was a great stroke of luck for us that we found Sue's contact in a magazine ad, where she'd mentioned that she specializes in first-time home-buying, which is exactly what we needed. We called her and the first thing she told us was "I help little people get into little homes." That was music to our years, as we indeed are not rich by any stroke of the imagination. A roof over our heads was what we were looking for. Sue took the time to get to know us, and understood our preferences. We wanted a 3-bedroom home with plenty of natural light and lots of windows. Within two days of talking to her, she had already eliminated a whole bunch of homes and narrowed it down to three homes. My wife visited three and picked one that, which I then saw - all in one day. That evening, she put in a heroic effort to get the prequalification started and wrote up the offer. Mind you - this home had already crossed its deadline for offer submission. Sue stayed up into the wee hours of the morning, far after our brains had collapsed from fatigue and we were in our cozy beds. She submitted a very strong offer - it was meant to be a dry run, and we ended up getting the home! There were 16 other bids including one buyer who offered all cash, and yet, thanks to Sue's strong bid (which was much more than just a monetary amount - she helped the seller get to know our family), the seller chose us. All of this happened in less than one week. We are now living in this beautiful home that we just can't believe! It wouldn't have happened without Sue. She is not just a realtor who helps people buy homes - this is work that makes her come alive. Her passion for service, her warmth and understanding of our situation and her willingness to give us an education in home-buying makes her totally stand out. In contrast, the prior week, we had spoken to someone who was rated highly on yelp, and we got a tongue-lashing for our basic naive questions and the fact that we had dared to think of buying a home. We should also mention her tech-savvy approach - her website is fantastic, and gives us core information that we need. We found it to be intuitive and were able to look at what we needed very fast. We have never signed so many documents in our life, and the whole process was made much easier as Sue uses DocuSign. She also has a good network of people - in particular, she helped us get a 5% downpayment loan with great terms which we thought was impossible. Sue put in so many hours to get us through everything that we even wondered if she was adequately compensated. Her work is a labor of love for her and we have no hesitation in recommending her to our close friends. read more

We had been looking into buying a house for a while without success when our friend introduced us to Sue. She always says "I love placing people in homes!" and she went above and beyond to place us in a wonderful home. We met Sue for the first time in her office to go over our housing needs and budget and she quickly pointed us to areas where we should look. When homes of our interest came up, she made appointments for us go see them together and answered our questions either herself or by contacting the listing agent, and gave us her insights (without being too assertive). As this was our first time buying a home, it was a tremendous help to have her point us what to look for in a home and give us advice. In the end, it took us over 4 months and 5 offers to get our home, but throughout the entire process, even after we closed escrow and during our move, she was always very responsive and willing to go beyond our expectation, negotiate for us, and answer our questions. We are truly grateful to have had her on our side during the home buying process. read more

We were interested in purchasing an investment property recently and met Sue by chance on a mutual friend's party. Immediately she came across as someone really knowledgable about whats going on in real estate market. As a first time investor, we were really nervous and wanted someone who could soothe our nerves. Also our prior experiences with realtors had not been great, so were always skeptical. Sue changed our mindset. In our first meeting, she gave us a preview of whats on offer based on our budget and what kind of returns could we expect. She also recommended a few areas where we should do some self-research for being assured 100%. After that meeting, we got a fairly good idea of how much flexibility in our budget we need to have with respect to the market and area we were exploring. The following months were devoted to seeing properties around our area based on our requirements. Sue was extremely professional in driving us to show these properties which used to take almost the entire day. She also made the effort to pick only those properties which she was sure we as buyers would be interested in and not show us everything that was available. Since this was an investment, she kept on impressing upon the point of viewing it from a tenant's perspective and not from a point where we have to live- something that is key towards closing the deal. Eventually we closed on a property which we felt comfortable with. Even during the closing process, Sue was extremely involved. We had some issue with the local bank approval process, so Sue was quick to negotiate with the seller's agent an extension on escrow - something that was last minute and not easy to do. Even after we've closed on the deal, Sue stays involved in the process of getting the home ready for tenants. After our experiences with Sue, I can confidently say that she would be our agent by choice for all future investment deals. Thanks Sue for your efforts. read more

As we were planning to buy a house, a friend introduced Sue Bose, of Referral Realty, as a specialist in the South Bay real estate business. We finally bought a house last year. Sue was an immense help in our house-buying process and assisted us every step of the way. As a first time homebuyer, we had lots of questions and were eager to understand the entire process. During our first meeting, we discussed the many criteria we had including areas, prices, and schools. She explained to us the pros and cons of single family homes, town-homes, and condos. We discussed various areas, the corresponding public schools, the ongoing sale prices, and proximity to our work locations. The process Sue followed was quite convenient for us. Through her web page, we would receive an automatic notification of all new listings matching our criteria and after subsequent filtering by us, we would meet up and go and look at the houses. She was always ready to accommodate our schedule. On one occasion, she even came by our apartment in the evening to prepare an offer since it was more convenient for us that way. Initially, we were totally unfamiliar with the multitude of paperwork that is involved in a house purchase. Sue spent a lot of time with us going through relevant materials starting from the purchase agreement and its various clauses all the way to home inspection reports and mortgage financing. The real estate market was quite hot in some areas of the south bay in the early-2010 periods and Sue assisted us ably in understanding how to approach the house buying process in this area. On numerous occasions, she identified and showed us properties that were not in the automated listing but suited our budget better. Even after we were in contract, Sue helped us a lot with inspections and financing. She was constantly engaged with the mortgage representative at the bank which ultimately helped us close escrow on time. In short, Sue did a great job and we are thankful for her expertise and help throughout the house buying process. -- Dhruva C. read more

Sue Bose helped us end our yearlong house hunting within over a month of working with her in 2013. We had been looking into buying our first home for almost a year without success with different realtor. We realized that to compete with cash buyers we needed someone who is on the edge, has got the best presentation and negotiation skills on top of market knowledge. We decided to change our realtor and that was the best decision we made towards getting our wonderful home. We met Sue at her own open house (part of the strategy to go with seller's agent after so much frustration with own realtor ) and within few hours of talking to her had an insight that she could be the realtor working in our interests. We're impressed by her professionalism in describing the amount of experience she had and current market trend. What we liked the most is she wouldn't give false hopes and be straight yet not assertive. In the end, it took us over a month; 4-5 offers to get our wonderful home which we thought may be out of our price range. Sue did her own due diligence about property and seller and helped us offer the right price which was lower than what we had thought to offer initially. Thanks to Sue for negotiating the deal for us and saving us some dough!! Due to her quick, right timed actions our offer was accepted vs. cash buyer offer. She provided us guidance for termite, property inspection and home insurance. She well communicated each and every step of process, status and how she made it happen to us. Even now, around 9 months after close of escrow, I am still in touch with Sue and get consultations and help for anything home related. Sue has a nice website having school locators per school districts and school API finder which was very helpful; one place to get all info related to real estate property. We are truly grateful to Sue for all her work in getting our first home and will definitely call her for the next move up. read more

We just moved into a wonderful house in San Ramon, all thanks to Sue. We won the bid competing against 3 other buyers and she handled all the details very efficiently and comes across as someone very knowledgeable in the house buying and selling process. She went through all the documents and pointed out areas which as a home buyer we should be aware of. She would make sure we understood each and every document and process clearly before moving to the next one. She also handled the sale of our older property and did a wonderful job there too. She makes it a wonderful experience with her knowledge, patience and humor. I would definitely recommend her to my friends who are looking for a knowledgeable realtor and considers getting the right home for a buyer more important than earning the commission. read more

The overall house buying process can have lots of hitches that needs a patient, agile and knowledgeable person to navigate. She is sensitive to situations and people's sentiments and cares enough for her clients to assuage all the anxiety we go through in this entire process. TLDR: Sue Bose is a hard working, dedicated to her client and great tenacity to get the job done for her client. Not so TLDR: Sue Bose has been working with us since 2012. And closed on our house mid last year (2015). Actually, she as been working with my parents since 2006. At that time, my parents weren't fully ready to buy the house. Nevertheless, we did not receive any pressure to buy from her during the entire buying experience. She has been very professional, guided and advice us navigate the current housing market. When our offer was accepted for our house, we ran into a major financing hurdle. We bought our house during climbing housing price (and competing with other cash buyer with offers way over asking price). The appraisal for our house came in half way into the lending process. The appraisal was disproportionately low as the comparable used wasn't accurately depicting the current housing value. You simply would not be able to buy a house in Bay Area in a decent neighborhood with the appraised value - I know that because I check and the search came with zero results. At any rate, she immediately found us a different lender as we were running out of time. She stayed on top of the new lender almost everyday to close on the file, and dealt with sell and their realtor who are threatening to recant the offer and put it back on the market. It was a very emotional period for us and if she hadn't done and push through, we probably wouldn't have been able to close on the house. read more

Sue Bose helped us to buy our second home in Almaden Valley. We were initially quite cynical about real estate professionals due to previous bad experiences. However, Sue had been introduced to us through a friend and so we decided to go for it. When we started our home search, we did not have a very definite idea about the price range we should be looking at and even the neighborhood. However, Sue helped us to narrow down our search and outlined to us the pros and cons of our options. She diligently came with us to all home visits for over four months, prepared our offer, and in fact, went to the office of the seller's agent to negotiate and bag the offer for us. Throughout the process, she provided excellent tips and advice not only on the home buying process, but also about the management of our current property in Almaden. She was always very responsive, explaining everything to us very patiently and went out of her way to negotiate the deal for us. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anybody. You would want her in your team...trust me!!! read more

I can say with all certainty that if not for Sue Bose we would still be renters, and not the owners of a lovely town home in the heart of Santa Clara. In the year 2009, when house prices dropped to a level we had never seen before, we were tempted to buy, but sat frozen afraid to make a move. A colleague who had bought a house thru Sue suggested her name and on a whim I made an appointment to speak with her. It was truly one of the best decisions I ever made. We told her that we owned a home in Petaluma, in the North Bay but did not want to sell to buy a home in the South Bay. She listened patiently, assessed our situation and gave us the confidence and courage to move forward. It was almost as if she held our hand every step of the way and worked diligently on our behalf .During the entire process she was more like a friend than a realtor who had our best interest at heart. Thanks to all her hard work and sincere commitment we can say we finally have a place in the South Bay to call our own. read more
