What I appreciated most was his integrity and professionalism. Whenever Craig found an issue, he clearly explained the available options and which route would produce the best long-term result. Although discovering new problems can sometimes make it seem as though a contractor is changing the scope, or the cost, Craig was making sure we had the information necessary to make good decisions. Through talking with Craig, I discovered that the previous installer did not even put in a check valve. So I made sure to purchase that first. When he arrived, he surveyed the site and made a note of all the other things that were needed. After getting them, he worked fast and efficiently. He left the site in a good condition. He even helped with the disposal of the old sump pump. I definitely will seek out Craig again in the future if I need help with plumbing. He worked efficiently and the price was reasonable. His bids are fair and are broken down into category. If you add onto the bid when construction has started... clark will tell you how much more it will cost. We have hired Grogan Construction for several projects (he did project our first project of tearing the fireplace and remodeled the bathroom above it....then we hired him for other projects) He has a crew of one....so...everything is done by himself and his assistant. Things we cannot do (fabricating & installing quartz countertops), he will hire out. Clark can do electrical, plumbing, tile work & woodwork. He has torn down our fireplace and replaced in with a wall of windows (and a sliding patio door). He has rebricked our patio as well as mud floors and walls so that they are even with a different type of flooring (tile to hardwood). ... there is no transitional "step". He built a transom over my door as well as create large mirror frames. (show him pictures of what you like and he can build it). I found Clark easy to work with and talk to. When there's a change in plans, his ego doesn't get to the way. He puts his clients first. You will ALWAYS see him at your doorstep at 8am...ready to work (even i can't be on time everyday) To demonish, clark has a huge trailier to haul things away. At the end of the day....he's sweeping and vacuuming. Amazing! Projects he's done for me: remodeled laundry room, guest bath, upstairs bath, master bath & tore down my fireplace.
