Multiple grades of gasoline were available for purchase. The windshield cleaning supplies were fully stocked. The areas around the pumps were clean and tidy. When I went inside to buy a beverage, I was presented with ample choices. They even had a walk-in "beer cave" cooler. It was mid afternoon, and an employee happened to be brewing some fresh iced tea. So I purchased a giant, 44 ounce, cup of that, and the price after taxes was only $1.64. Very reasonable! Looking around, they had fresh donuts, a pizza oven actively being used by an employee to cook some pizza, and an abundance of prepackaged snacks. I went to the counter to pay, and when the line became a little bit long, multiple employees came up to the cash registers to quickly get everyone checked out. Impressive! Kudos to Adakin for patiently answering my questions and getting me signed up for Thorntons' loyalty program. I wish that this chain of convenience stores would open locations in my home town's area. I will definitely make Thorntons my first choice of fueling stops whenever I return to middle Tennessee.

She then denied me my simple purchase when i was using legal tender, made me conform to putting half of them in a wrap and suspended my purchase telling me to sit at the table and wrap them for her! All the while this yokel tries to say it is common sense to wrap change. He knew nothing of the exchange or how much change it even was but that and this purchase in its entirety was the most uncomfortable and embarrassing experience i have ever been in in this store. Like i said i was counting the change for her. And even if i had it rolled would she not have to break it to count it to varify that it was enough for the purchase? The iced tea varieties were also cool. I appreciated an unsweetened version. You also had sweet and citrus. I do enjoy looking at beverages. I was happy to see Arizona and Snapple drinks. There was also beer. The phone accessories and electronics were amazing. I picked up a USB C cable that splits such that you can listen to audio on one side and continue charging your device with the other side. As convenient as it is these days to have wireless earbuds, when they lose their charge, you lose your audio. Especially when I'm travelling, I'd rather have this setup with corded earbuds and a means to charge your phone when your phone does not have a headphone jack. It was a nerdy find, but such a cool one. You can also choose from a wide assortment of CB radios. It was great looking at them, as it was all new to me. I also invaded the pork rinds section. Dragged my 2006 Ford Five Hundred (150K miles) out of cold storage this year, only to find out that…read morethe battery was totally shot. Being pretty new to the area I called Brian from Hook Em' Up Towing for a quick jump to get me to a spot where I could buy and replace the battery. Brian got there right on time, jumped the battery, and offered some solid advice and equipment I might want to consider getting for battery repair. Lo and behold, my air on a tire was so low that on the way to Autozone my tire blows out. I head to the nearest gas station, call Brian back to help with a tire change and he (thankfully) has an open schedule. He gets there, jacks my car up, takes the tire off, and notices my spare has a minor leak. He heads into the gas station, picks up some sealant, and adds it to the spare before getting it on the car. After filling all the tires again, he jumps the battery one more time and I'm on my way. If you are in Nashville and need some roadside assistance, you can't do better than Hook Em' Up Towing. Great family-based service at a reasonable price.

They are a slimy shady business that will do whatever they can for a cheap buck. They towed my car from the parking spot that I'm registered and pay for because my tags were only 3 months expired. Mind you they are not even contracted by my complex. They admitted to driving around at night looking for reasons to tow people. When my apartment complex called to have my car released without charge they refused. They told me I could come pick my car up at 4:30 and didn't show up until 6:10. They tried to have me sign the release papers before even taking my car off the lift... sketchy. Wonder why they only accept cash payment? Weird. I also found it odd that my car wasn't in a lott. It was the only car in the driveway that looked like someone house. RED FLAGS all over. I've held on to this review for over a year because I don't trust them not to do something with my car out of spite (yes, they are that shady). But they are back at it again at my complex. This is as close to false advertising as you can get. I used to think this store was above that. Guess not. Now I see why they have such a low rating.
