The Subway establishments had opened 20 - 30 minutes prior of my Friend and I walking in to order food. When ordering the food they only had a selection of bread available, even though there should have been a restock of fresh bread as per guarantee of fresh baked food.
Then once the main meal had been in the toaster for the allotted time we go to the Fresh Salad Bar- or should I say unfresh , the salad was wilted and the bell peppers clearly hadn't been updated in a few days. On top of that it had been clear that the sauces hadn't been changed for a while as dried sauce covered the nozzles.
Fresh gloves were not used between Sandwich changes risking, cross contamination, as well as rick of contamination for anyone with Allergies and specific food needs, I.E Vegans or Halal.
Once paid we sat down in the dining area, the tables had food under and on the tables. The area isn't cleaned regularly or to a high enough standard as there are Spiderwebs- which happen to be beside the cooking machines out back. On top of that, on the window panes at the back of the establishment the paint is cracking and weared down, causing black mold to grow, clearly the uptake isn't their first priority.
On the counter tops there is no space as they have boxes clearly from the freezer laying atop, to defrost but in an untidy and unsafe way. The trays used to bake the food were dirty and not washed properly.
The workers also neglected to go to the Ovens when they were indications that the new bread was cooked leaving it beep for a few minutes, this was disruptive as it's the early hours of the morning.
In conclusion, the food was decent but the establishment could use with a looking over and the staff remembering what their job is.
