I've been a loyal Subway customer, but my recent experience at the [Stamford, tx] has left me extremely disappointed. I travel over 20 minutes just to get to this branch, so I expect a certain level of service, especially when I place my order well in advance.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've had issues with this location. It's become routine for them to call us after placing our order to inform us that the bread we requested is unavailable. While this is frustrating, we've always managed to make a quick adjustment. However, this time, the experience was far worse.
When we arrived, the drive-thru was blocked, and to my surprise, there was only one young employee working alone. When we approached the door, he informed us that they couldn't make our sandwiches because they were out of herbs and cheese bread. While this was disappointing, we would have gladly accepted another type of bread if only we had been informed in advance. We placed our order over an hour before arriving, and a simple phone call could have saved us a wasted trip.
What made the situation even more infuriating was that after driving all that way, we were told that our order would only be prepared after the people who were physically standing in line. This is completely unacceptable. We placed our order an hour ago to avoid this very situation!
This experience has left me questioning whether the inconvenience and poor service are worth it. If this Subway location wants to keep its customers, they seriously need to reconsider how they handle online orders and communicate with their customers. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as this kind of service is simply not acceptable. read more
