The atmosphere and layout of this particular BP is much nicer than the others in the South Shore (maybe as its fairly newer). They have a great family seating section with comfy banquettes far away from the rowdy bar area. It is always packed during peak times and sometimes you need to wait a while for a table. Don't think I need to mention the food... there is something for everyone here! I myself being a big fan of the cactus potatoes accompanied by the spicy dip and the big hot cookie dough dessert that is topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce (a must try - I get it every single time!) Service is usually very good, the staff are nice and friendly. Your ideal foodie family friendly restaurant & bar!

We stopped here with a friend as we were in the area…read more The good: Food was really good. Some of the food at BP l ate. Service was good, quick and friendly. Service at entrance was also great. Food came at a decent time. Place was a little cold (but then again it was really cold outside). The bad: They decided to build a kid zone at the table behind us. Not that l mind kids, but in the middle of the restaurant it becomes a craft zone? Not too sure about that. I was always afraid to hit a kid every time l moved my chair. Other tables, who came in after us, got their food before us. Except for the improvised kids zone, this place is great.

TV's for us men to watch sports (they were live soccer that morning, but they prefer showing a replay of a baseball game?). The "J'ai faim" plates ("I'm hungry") are a good size. You can have two orders of the same meat on those plates. Waitresses are young, but nice. Always had coffee refills during the meal. The bad: The "J'ai faim" plates were separated in two, which makes them look empty. Asking for "fruits" gave me one piece of cantaloup and one piece of orange. A little more generous on fruits, please? Bathrooms are EXTREMELY small, and not that clean (or looks unclean). When we came in, there was jam on the floor that no one noticed (until we mentioned it). Same thing for a fork that fell of a plate that a waitress could not pick up and a customer ended up picking it up. The place is actually a restaurant/bar place. But they do good on breakfasts. A little expensive but worth it.

The place wasn't busy for breakfast; there was only a handful of people but it took at least 15 minutes for the server to come and take our order and then after she gave us the bill took another 15 minutes for her to come and tell us to pay at the front. Her and another server were giggling at the counter instead of waiting on the customers. Not impressed at all.

Upon entering, one of the employees (I am thinking the manager) came over to my hubby and I, asking if we had been to Quiznos before, and giving us a information on how to order, specials of the day... extremely friendly lady, I have to say. There were very few customers in at the time. We ordered the Roast Beef on Rosemary & Parmesan bread (myself a regular, my hubby a large), the order was handled flawlessly, lunch was quickly made, we sat down to eat (after I got my container of pickles:) )... and then I really looked at my sandwich. The order was correct, but there was like HALF the meat I am used to in the sandwich! I am not joking when I say it was Quiznos-quality food, at Subway-quantity amounts. Normally when I eat at Quiznos, when you pick up the sub, it doesn't almost squish FLAT. I know I should have said something, but I was tired after a long day out of the house, and I hate being the "unhappy customer" of the day, you know? lol Other than the sandwich being sadly devoid of the abundance of meat I usually enjoy at Quizno's, the store was VERY clean, cheerful, bathrooms were nicely-taken care of... everything else I expect. Normally I would at least give 4 stars, but the sandwich TRULY was a dissappointment, and the main reason I was there.
