We recently bought a vacation home in Franklin Twp. & we're getting to know the area. We visited…read morethis deli back in March & seen they offer freshly made sandwiches, so we thought to try them this time around. Very happy we did! For starters, they're all made fresh to order. I got their 12" turkey sub, which was fantastic! Flavorful & loaded with meat & cheese (I got three meals out of it!). My husband tried their Italian sub & he said it was great, also piled up with meat & cheese. And for $11, you can't beat it!

I had the naughty Santa and hubby had old fashion. Loved everything the chicken and pork were our favorite. Cornbread was perfect and we got the cherry BBQ sauce and mustard based one. Both highly recommend especially since I don't typically love BBQ sauce.

Brisket was cut thin and over cooked and didn't have a strong Smokey flavor. The smoked sausage wasn't bad put it tasted and looked like Eckrich farms smoked sausage. The menu said it came with a side salad, cornbread and pimento stuffed peppers, NOPE. What I got was a salad, tiny piece/slice of a white bread baguette and then a mushroom stuffed with what I assume was stove top stuffing. Very disappointed, and I paid $37 with tip. I hope the alcohol they distilled is better than their food. Do not go here if you're looking to get good bbq. Service I would say was bad because no one checked my order before they gave it to me, They were very nice though. I think the owners need to spend a little more time on the food and a lil less time on the alcohol.

I stopped by Back Door Saloon in Michigan and tried the Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls with Sweet Thai…read moreChili Sauce... and WOW! They were so filling that I almost ordered another round, but honestly, one order was more than enough. I even took two home in a doggy bag and ate them cold later without reheating or even dipping them in the sauce and they were still absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is amazing. There's a beautiful view, a patio, a rooftop, and TVs everywhere on the main floor, so you won't miss a second of the game. Whether you're there to catch sports, enjoy the scenery, or just have a great meal, they've got you covered. The service was friendly, fast, and the restaurant was clean. The staff works hard, so don't forget to tip! Everyone was so welcoming, and the food was delicious at a great price. I seen a Mac n cheese bowl topped with brisket omg sooooo good Pro tip: Check them out on Taco Tuesday! And one thing I really loved it's kid-friendly! I saw families with kids enjoying themselves while others were watching the game and friends were high-fiving over a beer. It truly has that welcoming, family atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I'll definitely be visiting again!

I was in town for a training and went two nights for dinner. The first day, I got a burger and…read morefries. The burger was very flavorful and the fries were tasty too. The second time, I got a chicken cesar salad. The dressing was terrible- watery and an odd taste, and the chicken tasted like the premade kind in a bag. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely go back, but I'll stick with "bar food." Both nights, service was quick, and the person was friendly. Ambience is sports bar and clean. Drinks are good, but the beer selection was lacking.

I also ordered a spinach artichoke dip. The chips were stale and the bread was too crunchy. I didn't taste the artichoke or spinach, it just tasted like runny cheese. There were flies around the restraunt as well. This was the first time I have ever walked away from somewhere not eating my dish because I felt sick after taking a few bites, and I'm almost 30. I regret spending 50$ here. My family went to Buccilli's Pizza instead and I highly recommend them. The stark contrast from dead silent diner with molded walls and overpriced bland food to a lively well kept and clean restaurant with award winning pizza was refreshing. Don't fall for the pictures and view of the lake- this place is gross and they do not care about the food they're serving. They just want your money.
