The place was clean, well organised, looked good with hygiene practices, and very modern- they boasted cooking equipment behind the counter which looked more up to date then what you'd see at other stores. Highly recommended if you're in the area and are craving Subway for lunch or dinner. Well worth it.

I've come from a Subway background myself many years ago and so have some company knowledge under the hood, whether it's still relevant or not is beside the point, so I usually look at hygiene practices, speed, consistency, and customer interaction and friendliness. This store ticked all of those boxes in my swift and first visit here. It was a lunch period and two young ladies were behind the counter. There was one customer half way through being served when I walked in, and before I had even reached the counter the second worker had already emerged from the back area and had started gloving up. She was prompt to ask what I'd like and was quick, polite and to the point in asking the follow up questions. There was actually me and a friend who had came this time and this worker had managed to quickly prep the first stages of both our rolls. By the time the other worker had finished serving the first customer she quickly came along and picked up on finishing my roll where the other worker left off. My friend and I were preceded through the service in no more than two minutes including paying up. We sat in and ate our lunch while countless numbers of other customers scurried through the door. These two young ladies were the only workers on during this period and observing their work performance from where I was sitting was great to watch. At times there was five to six customers walk in at the same time and they both worked in a small team effort and completed every task quickly, smoothly and very much effortlessly!! I was very positive to watch. If you're in the Adelaide CBD area and are feasting for a Subway feast during the way, a walk down to the Hinley Street Subway store wouldn't go wrong for anyone!!

When they first came to Australia I thought another fast food outlet, it won't last, it's just a roll like a deli makes a sandwich or double cut roll, but they're still around and here to stay. Lucky for that otherwise I have to stick to chicken or fish and chips as the emergency back ups. And...I like the fact I can order a roll without the roll/bread, just the filling as a salad option, as sometimes it's just good to not eat the bread, too much bread is no good for you no matter what type it is. The fillings are generous and the staff are fast. Plus the kids meal packs are a great alternative to other junk food served at various franchised outlets, who shall remain un-named. Depending on whether you choose your own fillings or go with the pre determined ones, some of these can be a bit hit and miss, for me the miss is the Meatball filling, I can't imagine anything worse, oow. Not much seating indoors at some of the smaller Subway's, but it's designed to be taken away anyway, especially if people are coming for a visit at home or an easy dinner pick up on the way home. There are a few dessert options to choose from and for me the cookies are always a winner.
