The night shift is terrible! I get it that they are young but they do not care about one's sandwich where I'm from and I've worked couple restaurants in my life we make stuff look presentable but not at this restaurant! The flys all around the food and last week during lunch my sandwich was made wrong when I told the lady with glasses she shrugged and to top it off the manager is never around poorly managed they're are a few good workers but being in this industry no one cares to fix one's mistake! Subway has gone downhill especially in Madison I hate to see it go but dude come I shouldn't have to come into a place that doesn't care how it looks or a staff member not fixing her mess up. let's just say the morning gal who stands on her phone speaking Spanish while theres a total mess in the bane and she's rushing around the place needs a good wipe down the gal is speaking on the phone in front of customers and MOST MORNINGS THE PLACE IS CRAZY OVERLY MESSY WHEN SHES ON SHIFT SO I DONT RECOMMEND HER but Fridays are always spot on I get greeted & helped efficiently. other wise the good is great I love it always but that gal needs a lot of training ;! read more

Dirty, dirty, dirty. The employee didn't wash her hands, put on gloves, then continued to touch the checkout screen/drawer before making my sandwiches, let's just say I lost my appetite after that. The meat looked a little on the older side, some vegetables were starting to mold, and it seemed most the toppings had freezer burns. Also, she put the smallest amount of toppings as possible, had to ask five times just to get the subway normal amount of spinach. Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

Suburb sub making skills by staff. Made so well you can taste the love and care in each bite. Very clean and well made sandwiches. Good aesthetic and feel to the restaurant. read more

The business shows its age. I went in for lunch with a coworker. The lady working the condiments station was not wearing a hat/visor. Furthermore, she continued to flip her hair out of her face. It was not appetizing. I didn't find any hair in my sandwhich, which tasted fine. There are bugs in the corners and the restaurant could use some TLC while being cleaned. Don't go there nothing fresh violation health code,no hair net on all 3boys Long hair and none of them wore gloves!! Also refused to give me someone who was over manager. Overcharged would not give us difference and when I demanded my money back he looked at me and said good luck getting it. Worse subway I've ever been too!!!! read more

Had a great chopped salad there tonight. Workers were super helpful and polite even though they were busy. More than enough chicken in my salad and place was clean and comfortable. Hope to make many more trips there!! read more

Beware of the Madison S.D. manager waited on my husband and I, I ordered the turkey bacon wrap she charged me an extra 75 cent for the bacon because I didn't have the guac on the wrap. She's always been quite rude when we have been in there. read more

Very average subway. Not the best materials, but if you're looking for a quick sub, I suppose you'll find one here.

Don't believe anything they tell you. If asked for more pickles and black olives and they charged me extra, never have if had that happen at any other subway. Not to mention went there at 9:30 pm not sure if they would be open and checked their door hours which said 10:30 close; nope. Guy sitting behind the counter gave me a look and gestured for me to leave, not even a "sorry we're not open". Definitely boycotting this place... one stop is so much better anyway. read more
