The food was what you'd expect from Subway and I have no complaints there. And for an airport, the prices were surprising reasonable. I wasn't a fan of the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, but it's an airport and I get that it will happen, so I just used my sandwich bag to cover the table. Now, for the issue. Would leave 0 stars if I could. Online is shows they open at 4:30am. I showed up at 4:30 and waited at the counter for 15 minutes while I watched 2 people stock the cool case. After standing for 15 minutes the male employee says "we're not open". I said online it shows 4:30, and asked when they do open. The lady informed me they open at 5-5:30. Never heard of a place that opens between a 30 minute window. After walking away and buying food elsewhere, (5 minutes have elapsed) I walked back by the subway to see them preparing food for someone else. I asked the female employee if they were open now and she shrugged her shoulders. What a failed establishment. Management obviously isn't present here. I got faster, better service from the market buying a premade wrap from the fridge. For a multimillion dollar company, you could do much better. It's Subway. Ingredients are fairly standard. The service was decent. Of course, being in an airport, the usual $5 foot long specials aren't there. The service staff was not exactly the friendliest, though. No smiles, no frills, perfunctory greetings. Another airport employee came to talk to the "sandwich artist" who was helping me, and their conversation lasted throughout my entire time in line. If I need lunch, though, I'd still come here. Charming staff. NOT!!! First in line and two sub makers walk past me and go to the back. No, "I'll be with you in a minute, hi, how are you, thank you for waiting." I've never seen worse customer service. I get that it's fast food and an airport but some people should not be allowed to work with the public. Didn't catch her name but she had the worst attitude I've ever seen. I waited far longer than I should have as they moved extremely slow and rolled their eyes and made smart ass comments to each other and was horribly rude to customers when she couldn't hear what type of break they wanted. Would give the two women taking orders 5 stars but the cashier gets one I'd give less if possible. The cashier was beyond rude. My friends and I went here to grab a fast bite to eat before our flight. One of my friends is gluten free so she proceeded to order a salad and the two extremely nice women taking orders were ready to help in whatever way possible until the cashier began to yell that "NO WE DONT HAVE LIDS WE CANT SELL SALAD". We began to discuss with the two nice women what other options my friend can have. After trying several different option i.e. egg wrap or just the salad bowl with no lid or even put the salad contents in the sub paper but the cashier still wouldn't allow my friend to make changes so she could grab a fast meal before our flight. Not even worth asking why they are closed because the 3 guys working are too busy cutting up.
