This Subway leaves a lot to be desired, to say the least. I have visited several times in order to give them a chance, but I refuse to go there any more. The food is cross-contaminated (roast beef blood/juice dripped into chicken, steak and tuna dropped on cheese, etc). They do not change gloves between touching meats and vegetables or even between making sandwiches or after touching money. I saw one girl pick her nose in the back room where she thought I could not see her and then come out and put gloves on without washing her hands. In addition, when they changed out a container of chicken strips, I saw that it had expired two days before! I saw the girl take a dirty scoop from under the counter and put it in the buffalo chicken, and a bag of garbage was spilling out onto the floor behind her. I am astonished that a Subway would allow such low standards to continue.
I asked to speak to a manager, and I was presented by a very unkept young woman who reeked of marijuana with bloodshot eyes named Ceara. She listened to my issue with the quality of the food, and then shrugged and suggested that I do not eat there if I were unhappy with it. She did not seem to care about the quality of the food or about the customers. I was in a line of about fifteen people, and everyone was complaining about the slow service, the lack of quality and unsanitary practices.
I highly recommend that you do not go to this restaurant, if you can even call it that. There is a reason why it is in a gas station; it seems to be as dirty as a garage! read more
