Like any other subway. Good sandwiches, friendly staff. It's closed on the weekends :(. Most likely because it's placed across from a school, and the schools are closed in the weekend. read more

I decided to sit outside, since the weather was nice. A server will come take your order. Staff was pretty friendly, but it did take awhile to order our food. It looked busy, so I didn't mind waiting. I decided to order the tosti platter, which is a selection of the chef's 3 favorite sandwiches. I was prepared to be surprised. The food took awhile, but I didn't mind the wait. When our server bought out the food, I was excited! Our chef chose to give us the tosti cheese, tosti kimchi, and tosti pizza. My first tosti was the pizza one, which was oozing with cheese and sauce. That tosti was my favorite one. The kimchi tosti was tangy and had a nice spice. I ended up taking the last tosti home. I can't recommend these sandwiches enough, since they're hot and fresh. Plus, they're extra crispy. The sauces were strong of flavor, especially the truffle mayo one.

I can't put my finger on it exactly, but there were a few things I noticed like they had a different cheese on the burgers here, the fries and nuggets were much crispier than I have ever had them, and it was just wonderful. The staff here were very nice and the decor was very stylist and original, like no other McDonald's I have visited before. They also had the nice automated order machines so you can easily pay with your card and collect it easily. I was surprised how good this normal visit to a McDonald's turned out.

It's an All You Can Eat sushi establishment. It is always advised to proceed with caution. The last…read morecouple experiences we had with new sushi restaurants was quite mediocre, so we were a big anxious to step into this one. It was said to have the best sushi in Utrecht, so we had to check it out. Like many, it's a large restaurant. In the middle of the restaurant, the seating is a little uncomfortable, but at the sides of the restaurant and on the top floor, it's provides a little more shelter, which I like for a cozy night out. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the deluxe menu (incl. sashimi and other specials for just 5 euro p.p. more) and ordered away with the tablet. Food came up very quick which was nice. Also drinks, extra wasabi and even the bill could be requested by tablet, which was very comfortable. No longer do you have to try and get noticed in a busy sushi joint, but you can just tab the tablet and return your attention to your company, which I very much prefer! The sushi was relatively good, but I am afraid I might be eating too much sushi and have problems differentiating the various flavors! To start with the bad: the handrolls were certain mediocre. You could taste it was refrigerated, and, while that didn't really impact the nigiri, but it did impact the temaki, unfortunately. The handrolls were flavorless and bland. And that's too bad, because I love handrolls! A tip for the establishment: make them as fresh as you can! The maguro and sake nigriri sushi were fairly good in comparison, and I also really liked their roll with ebi and wakame. Good combination! Overall, the sushi was very nice, but we both didn't have favorites that we wanted to order again and again. Still, we really liked it, so we'd probably return!

The dining room area to the left of the entrance was inviting, smelled like good food cooking and the menu has a big selection of vegetarian, fish and meat. Staff was kind and came back frequently to check on us. We chose the carpaccio to start, and allow me to definitely recommend that one, it is very French and excellent flavors. My husband went for the burger and my son for the mussels -- which were also made the French way, with white wine and carrots, celery and onions. Fantastic, next I am going to order that one. I decided to go Morroccan vegan with pearl couscous which was herbed to perfection. And have I mentioned their fries?!!! Really, really good. However, it was super cramped as the tables are packed way too closely together. It wouldn't have been so bad if the food made up for this, but the food was simply okay for the price paid. If you're here with a group of friend, I do recommend getting the "Borrelplank van de Markt" or the "Mixed Platter" to share. You get to try some local bites this way. The difference is that the mixed platter also contains fried foods. This place came highly recommended by our tour guide.
