For our travels we purchased a baked huckleberry cookie and a peanut butter cookie. They were HUGE. They were DELICIOUS. Whoever is baking the treats for K & M Burgers absolutely knows what they are doing. The cookie had a great almost firm bite to it, moist, layers of flavor. The Huckleberry compote/spread was next level tasty. THE SETUP While enroute on my uncle's U-Haul Truck moving trip from Southern California to Northern Idaho, we found ourselves in Butte, MT for the better part of two (2) days checking out the local environs. This Subway is in the trucker's stop plaza near the hotel we were staying in, so it was a nice quick walk to get to the plaza and do some snooping around. CORPORATE BRANDING CONSISTENCY I have to say I am really impressed that the look, feel, and taste of my foot-long meatball marinara sub sandwich has been the same whether I got in Sacramento, Glendale or now in Butte, Montana. BREAD SCARE I backed off for awhile when the whole news story about ingredient components that go into making plastics were also found in the bread, but it seems THAT story blew over pretty fast, especially when Subway declared commitments to stay away from those ingredients in the future.
